@@davidsutton2918 All he won was Great 8. That’s like 2nd place pig at the county faire. He still lost the invitational Team and Individual titles. They changed the format and Ryan still won. Ryan built a better team. I bet it stings a bit that Kry paid for the guy on his team that WON the individual title and still lost the team title… and that he’s a 405 guy. Damon built a smarter car.

Ryan was flying in every round!
Except in the race against Kalee Mills. He got very close to the center line and had to lift. Fortunately for him Mills had already lifted.

@@danmyers9372I think a lot of that had to do with mills coming straight at him. He was going straight until she started coming over and the. He started to creep towards the middle probably watching her.
@@danmyers9372 Just looked like a pedal fest race. Every single racer will say you have to be very good and lucky. Getting the right draw can get someone through a 2-3 rounds but they will most of the time still have to race fast cars. Chuck had this happen for him this year. Sometimes the car your facing breaks and you get a competition bye. That happened for someone in the invitational qualifier or the 32 car shoot out held at the same time. It was the 4th round before they had a real race. LMBO

Ryan Martin proves once again he is the most dominant person in the NPK. Tough season for him, but his team won Team Championship, he would've won individual championship as well if not for early problems. Crashed the car. But in my opinion he is the best, and he only gave Kye and the rest of NPK a break.😅

Everyone has to keep in mind that Ryan all season had a top 5 car. Scott Taylor said it himself at the beginning of the Season during testing that Ryan had the fastest car. His main issue was going from the 36 inch tire to a 34 inch tire. He's ran that same big ass tire for years and dropping to the 34 is a big difference with less surface to work with. He had work being done to his car while spending over a month during the off-season in Australia 🇦🇺. Come back and has to thrash to get the car finished and filming another Street Outlaws show. Then has to test on a new tire and he tried his old tunes hoping that it would be the same as the 36 but, no happenings. Lutz and a few others were already running the 34s so the rule changes didn't affect them. Season 6 he won the very first race that was the Great 8 and then just couldn't get the car back up to par. He eventually turned it around and he's still a force to be reckoned with. He missed race's and wrecked and had to start from scratch with his stored years of tunes. They can keep the team format for season 7 with adjustments like:
Not allowing team members to be switched unless you have a car that can't make a race then you can substitute and once the original racer is ready to return then the team captain will make the decision on who stays or they can have a race off.
You can also allow each team 1 trade only per season as well.
Change up the Championship format pertaining to having the original invitational racer who has the most points wins the Invitational championship.
Then have a team championship for the team who goes the most rounds as a whole.
Damon would have won the invitational championship this year and Ryan's team would have won the team championship.
Keep the Great 8 format as most really like this because it gives spectators something to do on Fridays whole attending the race and go back with allowing the winner and runner up to get the 20 and 10 points.
I would also give the Great 8 winner of each race 20,000 and 5,000 to the runner up.
As far as the Invitational on Saturday give the race winner 50,000 and the runner up 10,000.
These racers spend a lot of time and money and effort to make these race's and adding more purses would give these Guys a reason to work even harder.
This industry can be taxing on these racers home life and the show should also make sure to compensate all of the racers from the worst to the best racers based on their expertise.
JJ my friend you have done a great job this season and you're getting better each season at your content. You keep us going through the entire summer months into the Fall months until the TV show starts and you are much appreciated
i’m not sure how lutz struggled this year after doing good last year on a smaller tire

Lutz has the same 34 tires for a while now. He hasn't ran the 36 like Ryan and Dave. Jeff also changed his engine up after he was flying in Australia. He now has a Westside built engine combination which can take a while to get dialed in
@@adematthewsracing I said that Damon finished first in the invitational points standings but, he didn't get a check or trophy for it because the individual championship was awarded to Kye who finished first in the Great 8. That's why Kye got the check and trophy. I don't know where Sam and the powers that be came up with that idea 💡
One thing is forsure it didn’t take Ryan long to figure out smaller tire , rule change etc this year . Besides the first 2-3 races of season when Ryan missed the innovational from not racing his way in was huge . Then Ryan figures his car out and he crashes then comes back after the long break on a mission. Ryan Martin will be hard to beat in NPK season 7 if that team has no issues . But also since smaller tire is coming the races will be even more closer and competitive like season 6 . The days of winning by half track or what ever is over . It’s more competitive now . Also we need Americas List season 3 the list street racing is the best besides NpK

Would like to see others that street race on the Americans list race and not the same racers. There is so many other racers out there that would make for a good competition show if the show would actually get them on it. Some even faster than some of the guys that's been on the show for a while.

I agree. Team attack or Friday mischief but no team championship. Leave individual champ as points champ/ invitational champ. Look at poor Damon. Points champ, most races won...no money or trophy

NPK for the last few seasons has been changing rules to give others a chance to win. Ryan adapted to the rules and is as fast if not faster than ever. He had a bad start to the season and smashed his car but man he’s back with a vengeance now, he’s absolutely flying.

Apparently nobody understands that pro charger came out with a new blower mid stream in '23 and since it's a 136 the cars running it get a 100 pound weight reduction and the 136 makes more power than the 140 that Ryan started off the '23 season with along with everyone else running them which is worth .6 seconds in the 8th mile.
Meanwhile the screw blower cars were crushing it until the 136 came out. That is why everyone sees the 136 pro charger cars gapping the screw blowers in the second half of '23. Nitrous engines are limited to 960 CID by the rules so we won't see them improving until more CI's are allowed and that's not going to happen. The turbo cars are lacking as well due to the rules so there needs to be another look at the rules again for '24 or NPK will not be interesting anymore. Nobody wants it to turn into an NHRA pro stock deal where everyone is running the same shit - like a 136 pro charger.
This event was a cluster from the get go. $20,000 split purse when they were all originally told it would be $40,000. That's why we saw so many cars not show up to the event. It costs a lot of money to travel and run at an event. Ask Justin Swanstorm how much it cost him this year in parts alone. It's staggering...
If NPK doesn't stop messing around, it's going to die a slow death and we'll never see anything like it again so those who want it to keep going need to make their voices heard at Discovery.

This was the final race for the season. We should expect to see it come out sometime after the New Year.
