I met Malcolm in Spartanburg SC, I just can't believe his music. He is the nicest guy, signed my CDs. When I first heard his music I had a much different idea who he was and what he looked like. Don't know too many musicians who are so talented, and I got to meet him in person, you go Malcolm, will be a fan forever
Saw Malcolm live last week. I still have goosebumps. The man and the music is so genuine and absolutely magnificent. One of the best concerts i've ever been to. Thank you Malcolm!
Mac, I am so happy to hear you enjoyed experiencing Malcolm live. There's nothing like it! Thank you for dropping back by and letting me know you were able to make it to the show.
I only recently "found" this artist myself...he is amazing, and I immediately enbraced him, his sound, heart, songwriting is the kind most writers only hope to achieve, and nail! LOL,....really amazing--this one brings tears, immediate tears! LOL. Laurie
Hello, I just "found" Malcolm, never had heard him before. and was gripped..he is the real deal......yours was the only post I could find easy onthe eyes to watch--the others, live, and wonderful, but with jostled cameras. I love your slideshow...:-)Please check out my vid:" I got my Eye on" (the brick of cheese) ....tnx,..cheers, Laurie
@heymama1 I've been meaning to thank you for your comments, Hey Mama! (Couldn't resist calling your YT name, love it!). Yes, I totally agree with you about Malcolm standing out of the crowd. When I had my music publishing company in Nashville, I caught as much live entertainment as I could. You know by living there that I saw a lot of GREAT artists and songwriters. A lot of them blew me away, but none could touch the emotion I felt when I finally caught Malcolm at the Bluebird. NONE compared.
This is nice, I'm a big fan of Malcolm and greanteawoman has left some kind comments on my videos of Malcolm. I'm going to see him again Tomorrow (Feb 6th). I'll try and shoot some more footage of the great man.
"Were do you find so many incredible photos to make your videos with?" I'll give you three guesses and the first two don't count - LOL. ;) "Hope you are doing well." Doing much better than a few days ago. Thanks for asking RM.
Viewers - Please check out TennesseeShines video of Malcolm doing his song - Sittin Sad - recordeed live, backstage in their studio. Now, THAT is the real deal when it comes to seeing a live performance of Malcolm's. I think this is currently the best live clip of Malcolm up on UA-cam. Great job TennesseeShines.
Niffer - How did you like the show? A short report back would be greatly appreciated. Happy you got to be one of the 'lucky few' who was able to 'catch him' live.
Now you've got me hungry too ... 're-reading' what I wrote about Malcolm's fine cooking, Laurie :-P What a hamburger Malcolm could cook! Of course, he's been able to answer 'his true musical calling' rather than cook and that causes me great happiness!
Keath - Thanks so much for your comment. Malcolm is incredible, for certain. However, he is one of those artists who best translate live. A Hundred Lies is my favorite CD, followed by Another Wisdom. I tend to like the older stuff best because these are the CD's I've been listening to for years. The UA-cam videos of Malcolm that are up really don't do him justice, IMHO compared to a live 'in person' performance. Check out Malcolm's, A Far Cry From Here, on UA-cam. That is the best 1 I've seen.
Viewers - Check out PhilBe here on UA-cam. He's the only producer I've seen who has managed to really capture the essence of a Malcolm Holcombe performance live. You'll almost feel like you're there in person. Search - Malcolm Holcombe, A Far Cry From Here and then check out Phil's other videos of Malcolm. He's got 4 up and they're all fantastic!
This is one of the most beautiful songs I've ever heard. So pretty it almost hurts to listen to.

Mac - I hope you get a 'quiet listening room' to enjoy Malcolm. Envy you ... wish I could join ya!

I admire your work.
