IIRC, that button in the back is to lock the doors from the rear seat. e.g., passengers are in the back seat, driver momentarily leaves, passengers can lock the doors to prevent unauthorized entry from others.

I just had the 5000 miles service performed on my 2016 S3 just the other day. Going to get the Continental DWS 06 out of the garage for fall and winter. Then time for a good wash and wax. If Audi made a QS3 I would be really interested. Just up the horsepower and I am there. I have used the launch control feature twice. The engine becomes very responsive on the auto setting afterwards. Otherwise I have to press the gas pedal aggressively on auto mode. Sport setting the S3 is very responsive and alive.I love the S3! Thanks for your reviews!

Great video! I had a Q3 loaner a while back, and I normally drive a 2017 A4 stock, and I felt like the Q3 was slower and had some power, but not quite enough. I didn't feel the same confidence merging onto a highway. Totally agree with you on the HVAC controls and MMI controls. They feel weird compared to an A3/S3/A4/S4.

    Love my 2017 Audi Q3.
They have elegant interiors, sporty driving dynamics, and plenty of easy-to-use technology.

The new ones are even nicer!

ThatBlueS3 Yes I did happen to drive one of the newer ones when I took my car to the dealer to get it serviced. It was a 2019 Q3. It was a loaner for a couple of days and I loved it. Audi’s are such great cars. I love the driving performance.

Nice video, ThatBlueS3! The Audi Q3 seems to be a pretty decent entry in its class. It is definitely starting to show its age in some areas, but overall it has aged pretty well overtime (especially from the exterior).
The interior on the other hand is a bit dated looking (as far as luxury cars go), but this vehicle was introduced for the 2015 model year. Thus, I would expect a refreshed design coming in the next couple years. From one car enthusiast to another, keep up the great work! 👍🏽

+DriveAndBeDriven thanks for the positive comments! I definitely agree with every statement you made. It’s a great look crossover on the outside but needs a little help on the interior. Still a decent and semi affordable way to get into a small Audi suv.

ThatBlueS3, I totally agree. This is one of the least expensive ways to get into an Audi crossover, and this vehicle most likely offers what most people are looking for in this segment. I can't wait until the interior gets a complete refresh, though. Thanks for replying!

I had a Q3 loaner when I was waiting to get my wife's Q5 (our original choice was damaged somehow on PDI so they got us a different car), and frankly the Q3 just seemed way too VW ish. That climate and infotainment control is horrifically cheap feeling. Plus the screen that looks like it should go down but doesn't also looks cheap. And although it's a little bit of a slug down low, I did still get it up to 110 ;)

+Audi_ophile I will agree that the interior seems a little dated compared to the rest of the lineup. Controls kind of remind me of a BMW.

I think this is a more basic model, the one my mom owns has the nav, virtual cockpit, and the plastic aluminum is actual metal. But it is still a wonderful car.

Virtual Cockpit is coming to the Mark 2 Q3 which is due in 2018 sometime buddy.

Usually when I watch a video claiming an in depth review, the reviewer is familiar with the trim and features of the car!

Agree with your review. Have you tried with silent tire to see of the tire noise can be effectively reduced at high speed please ? Thanks !!

Which tyres might suit a A3/S3 better? To have not so much road noise.

I run BF Goodrich G-Force Comps for my winter setup and they are much quieter. They are all season tires.

The base model does have standard bluetooth I test drove a 2017 Audi Q3 today because I totalled my infiniti. I deflee would like to go with a higher package but once I saw I could connect my phone with bluetooth I wanted the car because it looks great and is a very quiet and extremely smooth ride and it's also comfortable. It only has 70K miles on it. It's 19K of course car prices are up alot but I ain't really got a choice but I think It's a decent buy overall regardless of the little nit picks and i'm not the type to be in a chevy trailblazer or some toyota rav. I gotta ride luxury even if it's on the lower end 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

Do you think if i were to finance a Q3 2017 with over 104,000 miles on it would be worth it? Gonna take 5 years to pay off fully. Do u think it will last?

    • @TheCenterLineAuto
      @TheCenterLineAuto  2 роки тому +1

I mean the 2.0T is a solid engine. Personally, I wouldn’t do a 5 year loan on a car that’s already 5 years old with that many miles on it.
