Those old toys look so cute! My 3 year old is really into little toy people and animals and making them "talk" and play. I have to look on eBay now and see what cool stuff I can find for Christmas.
8 weeks!! I am so excited for your sweet family! Throughout my own infertility process I watched you, I watched your belly grow and now I get to watch Jackson grow! Your videos have been a reminder that it is possible, that there is a light at the end of the tunnel. We finally got our good news a few weeks ago and now I get to watch your second pregnancy journey while I am just a few days behind you at 7w4d! Congratulation! And thank you!
That is sooo cool that you are moving :) congrats! :) But Ellie PLEASE remember being secure with the baby in your belly and don't lift anything .. I mean i know you are careful but I could imagin that sometimes you are just packing all the stuff and then you think aah one time won't hurt but it could hurt :o so be careful and secure :)

I didn't know vintage little people were expensive! We still have all of mine! They are about 18 years old!! My daughter LOVES them. Glad we hung onto them for so long!
I also had all of those toys you showed at the beginning. The yellow stair case and the merry go round. I also had a castle set that drops people through a hole into a jail, and a kind and queen set, and a house set. Amazing toys.
I loved the little people toys! My grandparents had a ton in their garage and we would play with them everytime we went over there.. probably until i was too old to be playing with toys haha. you are never too old to play with toys :) i hope the move goes smooth for you guys! moving is SO much work and SO stressful!
Hearing you talk about the old toys you grew up with made me think of this baby doll that as a child I ALWAYS wanted. For years. Does anyone remember Baby Born by Zapf creations? I'm pretty was the first baby doll that ate "food" and "pooped" (and I feel like other dolls that pooped didn't come out for several years) along with "drinking" water and "peeing". The doll also cried tears when you squeezed her wrists.
They don't make them anymore and I never got one. And it came with a bunch of stuff, too.
I know. Cullen said it weeks ago.
Look at the Playmobil toys...so well made and well worth the money. My kids literally played with them until they were 8 or so from 3. So creative.
My parents saved all my vintage little people and when my son when he was little LOVED playing with them!! I am so glad they kept them, it's so nice to see my children play with the toys I loved so much!
SO happy for you. It has been so fun to watch this journey that you guys are on. Huge love from hawaii :)

Congrats! We are moving too! We have lots of things to go through with inspections and stuff but we should be moving early December or late November. We actually made an offer on our dream house and they accepted. Hopefully all works out! ;) we are all excited.

I get very nostalgic about toys from the past too lol I never had them as a child and I now get a kick out of seeing kids happily playing. so I looked on ebay here in Australia and I found some. so I bought them for your little guy and the seller is happy to send them directly to your PO Box. I hope he gets a lot of enjoyment out of them. they are sent with love and hugs from across the waters here in Australia. xx p.s they said it would take about 2 weeks to get to you so keep an eye out. laura.

My older brothers and I used to play with those same Little People toys when we were little! Watching them in your video today brought back so many memories and brought me to tears. I'm only 20 - who knew I could be so nostalgic!
Go check out the DI in Provo and AF. I always see little people toys there. You can always run them through the dishwasher and disinfect them.

I used to play with the vintage little people and the merry go round and the stairs. That was my favorite thing to do when I went to my great grandparents house! They also had a school house and a bus that went with it all!

In Australia we just call it Lego - I was a bit confused when I first started watching youtubers in the US who say Legos. Me and my siblings used to get cardboard boxes and tape them all together to make houses and furniture for our Barbie and Polly Pocket dolls.
Speaking of TMNT, the current series that airs on Nickelodeon is FANTASTIC! The writing, the animation, the voice acting, the world building. Certainly not for a 9 month old, but it's definitely something even an adult would watch and not just out of nostalgia.

My parents kept the vintage fisher price school house (with that merry go round), farm, circus train and little old woman who lived in a shoe! They are my kids' favourites (and mine too)! Congrats on the move!

Yes I had that yellow staircase!!! Of course I'm a lot older than y'all. I'm 41 so I'm surprised you played with the same toys I did! And I agree toys are not made as well today!! My parents kept all mine and my brothers toys and my kids and his kids love to play with the old toys!!!

Lol I love Motivational Steve! He makes me smile and giggle every time.
That toy was with the Ewoks. (Ellie)I bought every toy that came with that tree house like thing. How about the Heman, Skeletor or The karate kid. I bought the whole set of them. When I bought toys for my son I always got him every single toy that came with the castle. He has all the little weebles and the houses with the swing and everything. They are the good ones he is 34 now and he kept everyone of his toys. How about the little muscle men. They all looked different but had a muscle body. He had the whole set of Star Wars. Jabba the hut. Right before Thanksgiving we would start looking for his toys. If we had to go to Toys R Us 100 miles away to get one of the toy to make the set we went. It was real real fun. Memories that ill never forget. You both are GREAT PARENTS. Keep up the great work. I love watching you guys.

I had (still have) a little people bus, it had a few people. I played with it all the time!
My 3 yo loves the little people zoo and farm. He also has the little people wheelies that he likes, but the zoo by far is his favorite. We bought him the safari truck for the giraffe alone. Haha, which he slept with for forever! He also has a few of the superheros. =)
I'm so glad your pregnancy is going well. Last weekend we found out we were expecting our third and that I was 6 weeks and 2 days. The next night I was admitted into the hospital for blood loss and a miscarriage :( I was only two weeks behind you. I know that our God is sovereign over us and this His will is perfect.

I actually love moving - a great way to decide what to toss and keep! Exciting! :) My favourite toy as a kid was "Tub Town" - my baths were so long thanks to playing in the tub!

I used to have the Little People toys that were short and squat, mine came with a little schoolbus that they could sit in (there were little circle slots like on the merry-go-round) but I think those would be a bit too small for Jackson. Congrats on moving, hopefully the process is not too terribly stressful :)

I had a babydoll I LOVED. Stole it from my sister but took it everywhere with me. I still have it too. My son plays with my special care bear which is pretty rough but he loves it.
