Really enjoyed this in my art journal I didn’t have paint sticks so I used oil pastels and sharpies, not ideal so wanna get some paint sticks and acrylic markers which will come in handy for lots. Lovely exercise thank you😊
I found your videos a few weeks ago, I have started doing art meditation and I love it. I just received my kwick sticks and watercolor paper today. I will be doing this one toinght! Thank you for the inspiring me to try this!!!
I think I'd work with 3 or 4 muted (maybe pastel) shades because for me personally, so many strong colours at once is a little 'in your face'. (note to self: research why) Loved the video though. 💙😊
@@grannym2880 I know what you mean - and I like to pay attention to how the colors make me feel, that’s a big part of this process, too! Personally, I’ve noticed I use more (and bolder) colors when I’m feeling particularly stressed. I wonder if using all the colors like this helps me transmute the overwhelm. When I can see the “chaos” on the page, I feel better. But for some, that chaos on the paper might make it worse…so softer/fewer colors would be a better choice. As always, do what feels best to you!
These are just what I needed! Now I know why I'm always drawn to circles...thank you for explaining. Could you share the brand/name of the acrylic markers you used please?
In art school, I had a professor who would constantly get annoyed when we mispronounced tempera - “it’s not fried, you don’t eat the paint!” Even after that, I don’t know if I’ve ever pronounced it correctly🤷♀️🍤😅
Not only is this beautiful and meditative, that finished page would make incredible paper beads. 🤩
It sure would.
Yes I agree with you it will really make beautiful paper beads ❤ Also the art piece will look great as Wall art👍👍
I can't wait to try this and I really like the look of the final result.
Thank you for this -- a wonderful thing to watch on a very rainy morning here in San Rrancisco 😊

@@joyfaigen9146Arrtx is the brand - this was my first time using them!
I'm pretty sure it's pronounced "tempra" not "tem- PEAR-a." And it's definitely not "tempura." LOL. As you can tell, I struggle with perfectionism. 😊
