hey ! i see lots of people talking about how much they appreciate this content and i have to add my two cents. i’ve been listening to Let’s Read since i was in 7th grade (i’m currently going into my sophomore year of college). and i have always ALWAYS enjoyed listening to these stories when i get the chance. i’ve fallen asleep to them. i’ve drawn to them. i’ve practiced my cursive writing to them. and all in all, i’m just incredibly grateful for the perseverance that Joel’s put into this channel. I was devastated when he had to delete so many of his videos due to copyright issues. and to see him fully recovered and with more subscribers than ever really just makes my heart happy. thank you so much for all the content and lovely narrations ❤️

I think it’s a public service they’re doing reading stories, and some people can put me to sleep better than other people. I’m sure everybody’s like that. I don’t think I have one favor I have a few and then I have some people I enjoy listening to them when I’m just relaxing, when I’m ready to go to sleep it is going be somebody that will put me to sleep. 🙂😴💤🥱
I’m fixing to take a nap now but yeah he’s right to lay into it because that’s what it’s gonna happen to most people and he still gets the watch time and I try to go back and catch the other half later Because I know there’s stories there I didn’t get to hear because I fell asleep. The calm soothing sound of your voice is like a lullaby to my restless mind. I work 6pm to 6 am as a care partner so some nights are hectic and I'm all wound up but you calm me and put me to sleep. If someone tries to turn you off i wake up. Keep up the good job. I look forward more in the future

I was "THAT kid" still a lone wolf. I had a great up bringing and my life at home was fine so that's not always the case. Other times we just don't like to conversate with y'all 😂😂
Possible theory for story 9: The smaller looking monkey keeping a lookout for the guy to check if he's okay or protect him if something happen to him. But it died due to the gorilla looking creature feasting on it, so that's why I thought of this theory

Too many schizophrenic people get off with lenient sentences when they do get caught. I get that whole innocent by reason of insanity plea was made to avoid putting to death people for mental illness but it needs to be amended.
People should be guilty even if they are crazy but they should be sentenced to medical institutions.

I know a few people like boots. When I was on the streets I used to get incoherent on antihistamines and other pills- I didn’t actually do anything ever intentionally creepy but did scare a few people before with my behavior. And ramble on about various interests. Like True Crime or Medicine or just something I didn’t think might come off as sounding scary. Lol I’m happy I’m healthier now. It was embarrassing a couple times.

I know this episode is nearly a year old, but i HAD to stop it and say this: my dad grew up in the Appalachian mtns. The method discussed for the baby's health issues at roughly 53 min., is the exact method they used to treat childhood ailments, except the branch was hung above the door. I have never heard of this in any other place, and I'm just really excited 😊
