Poplar is so underrated ! Love it
I do agree, but this is not poplar. It's Box Elder or Manitoba Maple
That’s a fine looking dog you got there.
Beautiful slabs.Gotta love that maple burl, especially when it contains such beautiful color.
Good to see the Young Un's learning........Wow on the Maple .....Busy Busy......Thx for the Vid's
Thanks Dave
We get quite a bit of the Manitoba maple in Alberta, but I haven,’t seen that awesome grain. It turns so nicely, and finishes like glass
Absolutely awesome!
Thanks Tim
Some incredible grain wow.
Crazy right Greg! (-:
That there is some purdy tree slices.
That maple is sick! Those cookies and that smaller section are going to be amazing. Love what you do man. Keep up the good work.
Looking forward to seeing you make something with that Maple.
It's in the kiln now!!!!
@@CanadianWoodworks Is/will any be for sale?

Nice channel. Saw u via matt Cremona s channel , u capture the content I’m interested in perhaps more than any other channel
Awesome, thank you!
We don't have Maple like that. Boxelder will look like that , but they only get about 14". Great find.
Beautiful wood! I just got some box elder slabs in with some beautiful crotch and flame. The biggest challenge is how to use it.
Your totally right! I just like seeing it there in a pile (-:
That's some pretty wood.
It's amazing to take a log and be able to have this come out of it! Love my job!!!!
It was my cousin who told me about you, I’m looking to get a small chain saw mill now! My wife says thanks lol
@@TheAutoworks LOL
I would sell my spleen for some of that Manitoba burl for a guitar top!
Looking forward to see what you make out of these. Does the red colouring last or does it fade after time.
Who does that WW life theme music? it's jammin like the shop
I don't understand why box elder doesn't have more commercial value or use, it's such beautiful wood when it has that red stain
The red is like the bloodline of the tree haha
Hi Paul. Would you be interested in selling a slab of the Manitoba Maple before it goes in the kiln? I’m a wood turner and prefer turning wet wood.
How do I get my hands on one of those slabs
Hey man, what's that red shit in the Maple? looks cool
AHHHH :) never mind, i'll just shut up and listen
How do I quit my life and get a job with you guys?
What’s the finish?
Waterbased spray from Envirolak
How much a bf do you charge?
