I’ve been watching your videos for at least 4-5 years- I rarely comment but I watch nearly every day. I have to say this is one of my favorite videos ever!! Something about the mix of soft-spoken segments, intentional triggers, and ‘unintentional’ style everyday sounds made this the most relaxing hour I’ve had in a long while.

This was such a blast to watch! I saw that you have shared some of your meals in videos, but do you also have any favorite beverages in Egypt? For the past month I’ve been learning how to cook Moroccan food after visiting a fantastic restaurant in town, and khunjul has become my new favorite drink when I’m starting my day ☺️ I’d love to hear of any Egyptian drinks that I could gather ingredients for!!

Not to be offensive, GENUINE QUESTION out of curiosity, does Egypt feel safe? Obviously everywhere has its areas with the US having plentyyy but as a single woman walking around is that common? Or groups?❤

I don't evny the small kitchen (I also have a small kitchen but I have about 3 of those "counter space" amounts/areas) but I DO wish the US would jump on board with smaller ovens. The size of our ovens is ridiculous. Am I cooking for 100 people?! Why do I need something big enough to hold a full sized swan?! lol I'd rather have that space for storage and have a small oven like yours. I don't own a house but if I did I would seriously look into putting like an RV oven in my kitchen and just adding more cabinets for the extra space.

P.S for emailing back subscribers, I know some macs allow you to use text to speech. If you look up your version of computer, it should show you the buttons you need to press. That might make replying to emails easier.
I already do that. I use my voice to write back to emails, but the whole process does require my hands quite a bit still… 😭😭

I seriously do not mean for this to sound offensive if it comes across as such, but I honestly never imagined Egypt having like actual buildings, like city buildings like in the US, I knew there was obviously houses and buildings and stuff, but I just didn't imagine it so "developed". I blame the US educational system for not teaching more about the rest of the modern world and its developments.
Whaaaaat?? Omg sorry, no offense. I’m just shook people in the US don’t know that! I’m Swedish and everyone in Europe knows Egypt. The coast of Egypt was a super popular travel destination 10 years ago. Everyone I knew went to Sharm el Sheikh for vacation. Went to college in the US for a year in 2012. The stuff they didn’t know about the world was literally so scary and mind blowing.
As a fellow American, I am shocked that you had no idea about the appearance of Egypt. If I were you I’d blame ur school not ur country 😂
As an American who isn't even 21 years old yet, I knew this and you should too. Most of the modern world looks "developed."
@Sophia I moved schools a lot as a child and they all taught similarly, my only reason for the generalization, but you are right that I should blame the individual schools and not the whole. The schools I went to were focused on past events of both the US and the world in general, the instances were very rare where we would learn something about the modern world or even modern laws of our state and country. I was never taught to delve into what happens outside of the US borders and so I never did.
@Xz Nytro The schools I went to chose to teach past events instead of present and future, they focused mainly on the past events and laws of our own government and our growth from basically cavemen to the early 1900s. They never focused on teaching us anything about the world outside our own borders and what it looks like comparatively to our development, under my own assumption I'm sure it's because they themselves didn't care so why should we, so I was never taught to delve into the vast knowledge of the world around me and at the age I am now I'm honestly too overwhelmed to learn to much too fast.
