This is true, but even still. I was one of his Biggest fans, and it breaks my heart that i had to watch one of my Idols Self-Destruct in the spotlight. From his chemical dependency, to beating his wife, to the car accidents, It was horrible. I wish him the best dont get me wrong, but it was painful to watch, and learn about all that stuff being a fan of the show as a kid.

As a fan it is still painful to know. I do have to give him credit for trying to break the alcoholism over the years, not an easily won battle. And good or bad his relationships with his wife weren't done in a vaccum, it went both ways. Both could've made better choices, only hope and pray he is doing better these days. I just don't think it is fair to write him off because of his problems.
Love this. Airwolf was ahead of it's time. It is time for a comeback, let's hope it is NOT watered down, remakes usually are. Look at the terrible job that has been done and continues to be done with Start Trek. It should be named: Start Trek, The Death or Murder of a Franchise>
There are some people that are worth saving, and others that aren't worth saving, because they have to be the one to take that first step on the road to change, and saving themselves.. You cant make it for them. Tragic and Sad i know, but we are after all only human. I wish him the best, but he's through dealing.

I was born in 1970, really didn't start giving a rats ass about T.V. until the early 1980's. There are only three T.V. shows that really stuck out to me during those early years of my life. Miami Vice was one, and a cheesy show, kind of a knock off of Knight Rider was Street Hawk. And the best of them all was Airwolf. I made sure to watch this show like it was a religion. Heck they re-did the Bionic Woman (2008), Knight Rider (2007) and Galatica (2005), why not Airwolf (2010) or (2011)?
Jan Michael Vincent was the Tom Cruise during those times. Unfortunately he plunged into the abyss of drug addiction and became obsolete. Sad...RIP JMV
