That is so true,Will. If you haven't had a feed of muddies for a while, you DO forget just how good they are, but that first taste is unbelievable. I like to cook mine whole (uncleaned) and then eat them hot. Nothing like it. Hope Dad is still doing ok mate. cheers.
G’day Steiny, glad to see that you found my video this time! It’s always good to hear from you. Yes you’re completely right mate, the muddies fresh out of the boiler are delicious too 👌 it’s impossible to clean them without sneaking a quick taste! I do like them hot as well as chilled in the fridge. Dad is doing well mate, he is still outfishing me every chance he gets! I hope you’re doing well too, cheers 😁👍
Thanks Mr Cods! I was so shocked at how many crabs were just walking around in the shallows, sometimes with their backs out of the water. Especially in some places, you almost had to watch where you were walking to make sure you didn’t step on them! Lots of undersize and empty crabs though sadly, but still great fun. And a bit of exercise too! I appreciate the support as always mate, I hope you’re doing well 🙌🦀
Thanks mate I really appreciate the comment! Yes even down into NSW they get big mud crabs. The crabbing up north looks great however I wouldn’t be keen to walk around like this with all those snapping handbags up there! 😂🐊
Thanks Cam! Yes mate it’s good fun looking for them hey. Josh definitely has a knack for it and knows where to look, I was just following him and trying to keep my fingers out of the danger zone 😂🦀
Thank you mate I appreciate the comment! Yes it was an interesting day for me too learning from Josh and seeing how many crabs are just walking around up there. This was around the Jumpinpin area mate! Heaps of mangrove areas around there 👍🦀 Cheers
Great way to burn a good technique, this could really lead to too much pressure on crabs and unhappy fisheries. Like your channel but this video is dissapointing mate

Thanks mate I really appreciate that! This was around the Jumpinpin area in South East Queensland. There are heaps of mangroves in the area!
Thanks Will, very interesting, where approximately was this? Assuming North of Vegas?
