I'm not sure, I haven't run into any glitches yet. If you've the same baby with no evolution for over 24 hours, then I'd say it's worth replacing the battery and doing a reset to verify if that fixes things. If it doesn't, then I'd say it's worth exchanging your device.

I believe the little horns on the baby sprites was simply for the V3. Different baby sprites for each version, I think?
I wouldn’t be surprised! I’m going to have to try running a Keitai, V3, and 20th Anniversary Connection all at once to identify the similarities!
