Wondering if it's possible to revive a "dead" battery in one of these, as so many seem to be able to do with other LI batteries by directly applying a charge to the battery terminals (and bypass the BMS)?
my display looks like it's broken after i've done all the step. i don't know what i did wrong. i followed all the steps. or maybe there are sensitive parts that i've messed up accidentally?
My display got separated by itself after 3.5yrs of use and it looks like the battery bulged and pushed it out. It still holds about 50% charge but I guess it is unsafe to continue to use. Too bad we can't find replacement batteries in India.
just get some glue for phones and put under the screen, even if it is a bit elevated, it would keep it well together and make it water proof again. It allows your battery extra 1-2mm of room. I did this for my phone.
Can the old battery bms be desolderd and soldered on a new suitable battery? It would be much cheaper if that would be possible, because a new battery costs 20£ of they even fit and don't have some defects.

I held the watch over a gas stove for some time, until the screen was pretty warm. That did it.

I just disassembled mine, I set my heat gun to 100 degrees Celsius, going slow I was able to take it apart with no damage to the display.
