A 10% discount as the norm is a good sign that the store does not have insane markups. I see a lot of jewelry and retail stores advertise "70% clearance" or something to that effect and already know that the cost versus quality of their products is ludicrous.
I'm literally obsessed with jewelry. Mejuri is my favorite brand. They have a whole series of dome rings which I love. I went with the pave croissant dome ring in 14k gold. I sized it for my pinky. It is such a great statement piece in the midst of my dainty collection.
This may sound so simple but try cleaning the Mejuri croissant ring! I have the vermeil version as well and clean it each time I wear it to avoid the tarnishing.
@@syedahasnainnaqvi1572 Mejuri started selling their vermeil jewelry with tarnish resisting storage strips and polishing cloths. They really help prevent the tarnishing and when they do tarnish the cloth will remove it
@@syedahasnainnaqvi1572 you just need a silver polishing cloth. Even regular sterling silver needs to be cleaned and polished because that's just how metals are.
Hi Christine! New sub here! I am loving all your gold pieces so much, do you mind sharing where in the LA jewelry district you got your hollow solid gold hoops from? Thank you so much!!
I already saw in your video that you love rings, I love them too. I wear them on all fingers. Are you going to buy more until you complete all fingers? Greetings
I love all your beautiful jewelry Christine. Could you tell me please where I can find your Nadiandlo pendant? I like the fact that it has cutouts and isn’t a solid look. I see a dragon pendant on their website but it looks solid. I don’t see your pendant unless yours is solid and the same one? Thank you!!!
If you contact mejuri about your croissant ring that tarnished, they will either replace it or give you credit, I’d go for the credit and get something solid gold. I have had a couple pieces that I have from mejuri that tarnished and they were really good about it. It just has to be within two years if when your purchased it. Usually they require that you take a picture and send it to them.
Do you still wear your jewelry while taking a shower? I've been trying to invest in soild or gold filled jewelry as well and do not care about taking them off at all. I just hope my gold filled pieces would also last me long even if I'm rough with them.
go for solid gold if you want to wear it without taking it off. find places who sell them by weight not branded but it will hold its value and you can pawn or sell it if ever you get tired of the style
Gold filled can easily last up to 30-50 years, witch is pretty much a lifetime, gold filled is basically a high percentage of gold above a base metal such as silver, but it never changes colors, I have gold and gold filled, I shower and sleep in my gold filled chain, it’s been 3 years and it’s still the same, if u want any info I spend most my time learning about jewelry so
If you can afford it, get solid gold 10k and up. Itll last forever and you never have to take your pieces off. Try pawn shops, they sometimes charge by weight and its more affordable than a jewelry store
Have you had any issues with the Stone and Strand ring? I want to order that one, but one of the reviews says they lost 3 stones already. I’m wondering if that person is unusually harsh on their jewelry or if it holds up to normal wear and tear. For that price, I was hoping it would last for at least a decade.
Depends. I have a few of their earrings and some of the smaller stones have fallen out :( But I have one of the pavé huggies and they still look good so I think she keep an eye to the overall setting of the stone.
Haha…big hoops aren’t in style anymore? Everyone I know rocks big hoops on the daily. I think it’s about your personal style. I like bigger earrings in general though. Small Huggies are nice for your 2nd hole though.
I'm surprised that all these UA-cam GOLD jewelry collection videos don't have a single pure 24k solid gold piece and every girl has like mejuri. Solid 24k gold jewelry doesn't tarnish and almost every chemical you encounter will not react with it, you literally don't ever have to take it off, I know because I have some solid 24k gold pieces that I NEVER take off (you can look up the chemistry of pure gold if you don't belive me). 14k is also usually overpriced and not sold by the weight of gold but price is based on brand prestige, so in other words literally every brand over charges with 14k, 18k, and basically anything that's not pure solid 24k gold.
How can you wear pure 24k gold? You can change the shape of it with your hands it’s so soft… I have a thick pure 22k gold ring and it keeps on changing its shape with wear and tear.
@@Dai_rui you must have a fake and it depends how thick it is and what. Obviously if it's a hella fucking thin 1mm ring it will change shape. A thick band is not gonna change shape, you can try to bend it with your hand with a lot of strength and it will not budge. It's not that soft. A pendant or bracelet will not really change shape because it doesn't get beat up like rings do everyday.
Solid 10k 14k 18k 22k and 24k DO NOT TARNISH as only the plated pieces will tarnish. I know because I have them all for many years. Yes the 10, 14k are overpriced but not everyone likes the bright colour and softness of 24 k.

Avoid BABY GOLD on line. The stuff is junk. They have NO customer service and could care less if you are happy or not. Skip.
