The first Dino I tame is always a moschops. They are great berry gatherers. They have amazing stats and they’re great at kickstarting base building. They also collect lots of meat, hide, silica, etc. within minutes of joining a new map, you can fight off many different predators for only a mejoberry.
you even can farm fiber with them
same thay are grat berry gatherers
Is it just me or every time I want to find a raptor I don’t find one, but when I don’t wanna find a raptor and I’m very low level, they come out of nowhere
I feel you on that one. This is what we call 'getting Arkd'.
My lit bros mossy (moschops) was so high level that killed a baryonx
nice video i just started i am lvl 44 and just tamed an Allosaurus, trike, carboneyms, parasaurus, tek parasaurus and a pteradon. i had an equus too but... he got killed by the allosaurus i tried to tame... i atleast got it lol
The best ARK UA-camr!
Blud really didn’t mention the fact you need a saddle for the pteranodon and how it’s LEVEL 38 acting like it’s a low level tame omd
Oh another tip. Early game at least, keep Mejo berries in your last slot. Pegos will take them and on occasion immediately tame. Even if they don't it's not a serious loss. Though you may end up with far more Pego tames than anyone ever wants.
Never too many Pego Pets
I respectfully disagree, lol
you have to keep them stacked if its all in 1 they just still them all
Keep up the content ❤️
Carbonemys is pronounced like Artemis and the turtle in real life would’ve been a carnivore
I love taming dilos
I know she's mentioning working on the weight of your animals. But could you jump back-and-forth for like one time? Do wait next time, do stand up next time. Do we next time Stanley or health? Could you bounce back-and-forth or when you actually pick one? You'd better stick with it for a while
You can craft something called a mindwipe tonic if you decide you want to respec your stats, by default you can only do this once every 24 hours
How to tame?
Name the rapture Britney
Ayeeee
If you didn't know! You can find cementing paste in beaver dams! I found so much in one on my last play through and never knew it was in them! Be careful tho! The beavers will attack you if they see you taking stuff from the dams!
Can I posit a name for a Lystrosaurus as ‘Minty?’ The inspiration comes from a now defunct name for a mouth-freshening product from the seventies called Listermint. Sounds pretty similar to me. Also, both dinosaurs and Listermint are now consigned to history.
Love it :D
Such a good name
The fact you didn't edit out the interruptions to the taming of the Carbo is super useful for newbies, far too often you see perfectly cut & edited taming experiences, and ARK is just not like that at all :P
You have a beautiful speaking voice! Love me some Ark (looks great on Series x) great advice

When I started I was never told about the extreme early game benefit of Bolas. I had to find that out on my own and it took way way longer than it should have. Keep them on me at all times now.
Fun fact: my first tame was a bronto with a slingshot
Oh my, how long did that take you?!
@@MissVadams10 awhile 🥲
literally did this and there was one raptor there so I was like “oh hell yeah” and when I got it knocked out, she was level 135 and I like omfg so she was tamed up she was level 202, I named her Pumpkin since she literally had the colours of a pumpkin
Im more a ps4 players
That is how im going to play for the first time ever playing this game
Dilophosaurus don’t attack the turtles but raptors do
Downloading the game again right now ; it is at 69%!
Minty would be a good name
I built my base in the same spot haha
This series is probably the best tutorial that I’ve found
That is really awesome to hear, thank you for the kind words!

When i started i would actualy put points into weight frist, then i started over on another map and distributed between movement speed and weight and it paid off big time. For trike i would suggest 4-6 trank arrows in butcheek to know it out, that's how i did it. They can't turn arond so fast so when they start charge get behind them and start shooting trank arrows.
Depending on the level of the Trike you will likely need more tranq arrows than that, but shooting it anywhere except the head will give more torpor and damage :)
@@MissVadams10 hitting trike in buttcheek while it's charging gives you extra time and shots because as you know they're big and not so agile so even on high level they make great tames.
great video! really like the narration and gameplay
Lol dilo's are always my first carnivore tame. I think they're cute and like running around with a small army of 4 or 5. Until I get my first raptors.
Love this playthrough! Im just starting a dedi server solo, and your tip to look through engrams and not grab them all helped so much I was able to build a raft and place some platforms and my dinos on it! Love the Machop dinos early, and the turtles are great for carrying wood and stone!
Why do you lot say ky-tin. Its chi-tin lol hence the c word of it has no K in chitin.
Or is it an American thing.
Cheetin or chiitin. Pronunciation annoy me the most. xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
I always used to say 'Chit-in' but I got worn down by my friends that I was pronouncing it wrong so I started saying 'Kye-tin' 😂
It's definitely pronounced KAI like the C in Christmas, and not CHAI like in change, but you are free to say it however you want!
Lol early game is always a pain cause of dilo’s and raptors😂
Petey the Parasaur will forever be my first tame. (Just found you on UA-cam - awesome videos!)
I did the same dinos my carbonemys was 166 when tamed and the pteranodon 220 when tamed
I could not figure out how to tame a dinosaur. Thank you!
Far too late for naming but I always like Lameo the Lystro
im so bad at naming stuff xD but Coach for the Lystro
instructions unclear i tamed a level 20 raptor that rushed me after punching it unconscious :P
Did it wake up? Depending on what your taming settings are you may need to feed it narcoberries or narcotics to keep it knocked out
@@MissVadams10 I got it tamed it then died to piranhas after it was almost dead and in water just enough for a 40 something fish to eat its bum, I did kinda restart after that because I had my xp up too high and was leveling too fast to be fun so I added some small mods that my friend recommended and just reset I now have a nice wooden house on the beach with a 107 Petra that I can't make a saddle yet for and two dodos lol (FYI I'm a veteran in ark but I love your tutorials it's nice to see how other people play and I love to help people in the comments if I find an opportunity 😊)
@@danceofthevoid6772 Ah yes knocking stuff out on water is a death sentence usually. Those piranhas might bite you too if you're not careful 😆
@@MissVadams10 too late the carno got me first a carno said i wasnt allowed to tame a beaver
@@MissVadams10 i actually have a question for you since i never actually bothered to do it myself is it worthwhile to have a narcoberry bush in my greenhouse?
What level for the feeding trough?
You need to be level 18 to learn the engram and it will cost you 12 engram points :)
We don't have a Cleo yet.
Every Ark Playthrough needs a Cleo. And a Lego.
@@MissVadams10 I would have suggested Lego if it was a male :-D
Thanks for this series! Figured I'd try Ark cause I wanted a relaxing solo game and your videos have helped tremendously!
