  • This donut / doughnut is huge. For a pillow, it would be small but as a stuffed toy for a young child, this is a big donut. It is very easy to make and it is all single crochet. Beginners who wish to practice their single crochet or try making amigurumi for the first time, this is for you.

    What size hook and yarn please and thank you?

      I used a 4 mm hook and 5 ply cotton yarn

      You say to use a 4mm hook but in the video you are using a 3.5mm does it make a huge difference to use 4 instead of a 3.5?

      @@shericlementsmcclosky6267 if using same yarn like 5 ply yarn, use 4 mm hook it will be a bit loose, all the stitch, but 3.5 mm hook it will be a bit tight. But the size of the pillow will only be a little bit smaller - not very much different. Unless you use a different type of yarn.
