Richard Armitage: The Waterstones Interview

- Having created thrills on screen as an actor it was perhaps only a matter of time before Richard Armitage decided to create a literary thriller of his own. After memorable appearances in TV thrillers like Spooks and three separate Harlan Coben dramas, Armitage has penned his own, Geneva, which sees a Nobel Prize-winning scientist forced to question everything as intrigue swirls around a new bio-tech innovation. Will Rycroft sat down with Richard to talk about literary influences, his approach to writing, and why acting and music have both helped him create this first novel.

Thank you for the interview. I can listen to Richard non stop.
Great interview, I love Richard's voice.
Indeed👍🏻, it's wonder he is one of the many British actors who is excellent as a narrator for audiobooks 👌🏻.
J'adore également sa voix ! 😊😊
Ok ….. you have convinced me to order the book. Arrives tomorrow 😊
This guy is Brilliant!!! Can't wait to read your debut Novel: GENEVA...hope there will be plenty more.
Beautiful man.
He got the contract because the book is brilliant.
He is Brilliant! Great actor, and also very clever man.
One of RA's best interviews, you can very well feel they know each others and are talking like old friends. Thanks Waterstones for this. ☺
It was a good and relaxed interview. Apparently, I was at school with him but having asked others there, I seem to be the only one that doesn't remember him. I only have a vague memory of people talking about someone getting time off for acting, so I assume it was him if true.
Спасибо за это интервью с чудесным актером и интеллектуалом Рачардом Армитиджем! Восхищаюсь его многогранным талантом! С любовью из России, из снежной Сибири ❤❤❤
I love Richard ❤️
What a treat! Thank you!!
Thank youfor posting this.
So glad he’s taken this artistic direction. Becoming a ‘’renaissance man ‘’? Couldn’t happen to a lovelier person. 11:18

How about an interview with Jonathan Keible. He is a great narrator ?
❤
❤❤
I am soooooo gay for Richard wish I meet him someday 😅♥️
I’ve met him and him is just delightful. A very warm, intelligent and humble person.
Is it just me, or are those the worst chairs ever? They look so awkward and uncomfortable.
It’s not just you.
He only got a publishing contract because he's famous.
