Great video! It’s well informed, clear, and straight to the point. Very much appreciate the hard work you put into these videos, including the small touches such as your background. Don’t think we didn’t notice your Hogwarts poster 🥳
@@ryan_phdsec No Way! That’s cool AF! Now I’m curious to see your wand. Wood working, how did you even pick that up being a techy?! Impressive and as an ADHDer, totally understandable.
You really only need to learn how to break out of input forms for XSS and a bunch of payloads already exist for that. I would recommend learning Python instead of javascript if you want to be a penetration tester. If you want to do bug bounty only, then javascript would probably be better to learn. After learning Python you will be able to read basic javascript files, and you don't need to be able to write any javascript for penetration testing (other than XSS). You WILL NEED to be able to read python and modify exploits to be a penetration tester.
@@ryan_phdsec I knw a bit of python also but the part where I struggle is most of my knowledge is from youtube tutorials I knw loops I knw conditional statements but when u try to organize all those things and write up anything from scratch like the xploits are coded from scratch write I dnt knw how to do that . Is there any resource to learn to do that
@@firosiam7786 It sounds like you need to write basic programs no more than 50 lines of code. You may have to import a few modules, but start with making short easy programs. The hardest thing for people to learn is thinking like a programmer. Your goal in a program is to solve a problem. So, identify the problem, and then make a flowchart that will solve the problem. Then use that for writing the code. This will be a good video topic because to fully answer how you should proceed is just too much to type. Remember even the best programmers in the world spend more time on google trying to figure out how to do something than actually writing code. So USE google 😁 You can always go to codewars and do really easy python scripts if you cannot find any ideas. And if you get stuck google the questions. And to answer your question. The best thing to do is start easy. As for resources google easy python projects. An example would be step 1). Make a list with all the colors. step2). Make while and for loops that go through the list. step3). Make a function that gets called when the loop hits green (this will require an "if" statement) Then just add to the program a little at a time. The programs will be useless in the beginning but you will. learn the concepts.
