This Talk Show in itself is iconic . An invasion into men’s world . Need many more of such chats including women from different sectors. The time is changing rapidly , but only a handful of women have been equivalent to men in certain fields, some are hitting on hands but in vain , few are doing on papers or speeches , and most of them have surrendered or accepted the male domination as a part of the system . So such chat shows will definitely bring the desired movement in the society .

The way Asha Parekh looks at Tanuja when she said "nothing" 😮 give me a break lets not give the heroes a pass. This conversation is soooo good - today's directors and industry is responsible also for not casting senior female actresses in riveting roles not just as a grandma.

Loved the conversation….and yes it’s so important to start and address such issues openly so if we don’t do it men won’t, because they are not sensitive enough!

Maitri should also include men and transgender in this forum to make the discussion heard by all and hear the thoughts of men about the issues raised by women and transgender.

Please have men also in the conversation so it gets more indulgent!! The strong and loud tones are not necessary. Being jobless in a male-dominated world is a nightmare, so many relent to the biases and just move on…. casting couch exists !!!! Its so deep rooted, make your sons wiser and teach them to cook too!!!!

Is this because in South Asian culture, they don’t allow women to find love after the age of 25. And if they do they have to move to western countries.

Tanuja was a good actress but not a very big star unlike her elder sister Nutan.😊

She was not even a star. In the 60s Waheeda, Asha and Sharmila Tagore dominated while 70s was ruled by Hema, Rekha, Zeenat and Reena Roy
