- In this video, we cruised the Myrtle Beach Strip from 26th Avenue North to 6th Avenu South and it was a complete Ghost Town! This was about 10 p.m. but we were surprised it was so empty!

We're Chris & Lindsy Fowler from a small town in Coastal North Carolina. Thank you for following along with us on all of our adventures.
I live in Myrtle Beach. Its pretty dead around here after the season. A lot of people think it is booming year round but unless you love golf, you have to find indoor things to do.
You are definitely right. We live right over the NC line. During the off season we like to call this a sundown town! Once the sun goes down the town closes down too! It’s very interesting to see the difference in the strip during the different times of year! That’s why we like to make these videos!
Having owned rentals on the beach for many years, this is not unusual. They call this the shoulder season after the season which is from Easter until the middle of September.
Oh yeah for sure. It’s just interesting the difference a week makes. Our last strip video from last week it was super super busy and this week it was a ghost town!
I guess the gist are invisible because I didn’t see even one
They are all hiding!
Streets were empty for sure lol
Wow
It’s amazing how different it was from last week!
There was no way this was 10 at night. The Skywheel doesnt shut down that early and it was totally dark as were all other businesses.
We hit the strip right after 10 pm we were shocked everything was already closed too. At most it was 10:15 we were home by 11 pm that night and we live in NC just over the state line.
The sky wheel currently closes at 9pm during the week and 10pm on Friday and Saturday nights. I just looked it up. It’s the off season it’s not uncommon for businesses to close early when it’s not busy.
