Yes I remembered Fred. He came to the RCE Band a coouple of years after me. I played 2nd trombone and your Dad shared 1st with Charles Pettifer. I got out of the Naden Band in 1969. With the two bands amalgamating, there were 10 trombones which is too many when you only need 5. I have the RCE Band picture hanging on my wall and have digitized it. If you want a copy, send me an email from my Tattoo 67 web page. Your Dad was on the Tattoo as well. Where is he now?

Matt Pettifer Hello Matt, I played trombone in the RCE Band with your grandfather, Charlie played 1st trombone, I was 2nd and John French played bass trombone. I have all the digitized tracks from the RCE album and can send them to you but I need your email address. Go to my web page at tattoo67.com/index2.html, scroll down the Content List and click on Contact Me and send me an email. I'll then contact you back.

Matt, I have UK ancestry research for Charles Owen Pettifer. He was my husband's father's cousin. Let me know if you or any other family member are interested.

Hi Dave, yes I was in the band up to 1968 when it was 'disbanded' for lack of a better word. You can see me top row, fifth in from the right. The LP was recorded 1968 I think. Go to my web page at tattoo67.com and send me an email. I can send you some other tracks. Keith
