Sports Compilation Filmed With Osmo Pocket 3 (4K)

A haphazard selection of youth sports I filmed with the Osmo Pocket 3. Some clips are zoomed, some are not. Some clips are enhanced, some are not. Basically just a demo of how this camera performs in various situations (indoor, outdoor, sunny days, gloomy days, through protective netting, through glass, up close, far away, etc.). If viewing, please make sure you adjust UA-cam resolution to 2160p.

hello there! could you tell me if this is tracking the football? as in, if i was to leave this on a tripod and want it to track the football for an entire game, would it work? without operation, without somebody having to do the operation. thanks for your time! came here from reddit

Unfortunately not. Well, technically, it has the ability to track objects but it seems to be better suited for something like a person vlogging or doing a presentation where it is a larger object (aka a person) who may be moving left to right as they present. I have attempted to lock the tracking to the ball, but it is too small of an object from a distance and blocked by bodies too frequently to be effective. Perhaps if someone wanted to film themselves doing drills in the backyard it may work. Hope that helps…

No way can it track in any sports event.
I tried doubles tennis and it fails pretty badly.
