As a lifelong Michigan fan (33) who my entire life was just watching us get throttled in every single meaningful game, I don't even care if they suck for the next decade. The last 3 year run of dominance (3 W vs Ohio State, 3 Bigten Titles, and the Natty) was a dream come true.
Davis Warren deserved a bit more. He was easily the best thrower and it wasn't close. Colston Loveland isn't a "young guy." He was 1st team All-Big 10 and on the Mackey watch list.
Warren will be the starter. He is the closest thing to JJ we have. Arm talent, decision making. He has the edge in those areas imo. Hopefully Orji doesn’t transfer. If he does, it is what it is.
Great breakdown. Too early to pick starters, but I like Orji early on. I think in a full contact game Davis Warren will struggle because of his slower release, weaker arm, and smaller frame. It was nice to see him make plays though!
The problem with most running quarterbacks is they stop looking at the receivers down the field when they have decided to run even if they haven’t past the line of scrimmage. Injury prone. Passing attack and running back are the best thing to do look at Michigans national title. A dark cloud has rolled over Michigan. Good luck.
@@freeheeler00 no he didn’t he hits him in stride it’s a td. The safety was way out of position. Go back and look the wr has to stop running and wait for the ball. It should have been 6 if he throws towards the sidelines deeper
A great throw? The WR had to wait on the throw. I think the offense will struggle with these quarterbacks but the defense will keep them in games. They loose to OSU this year!
Dude- You need to re-evaluate the QB. Davis Warren threw 2 TD's and completed 6/9 for 158 with limited action. He essentially won the game and I did not even hear his name here. Orji is CLEARLY not the answer. We do not need a running QB. We have top level RB's. We need a QB who can pass the ball. PERIOD. Warren looks to be the clear leader early on with the Freshman looking to be second. Orji 3rd, Denagal-Done.
Bro 💀 again it’s a spring game let’s chill out 😂 all orji needs is some reps Warren been here so long so he’s def more comfortable but orji adds so much more and he did just fine. He had a few raw moments but he did amazing
@chillzzz3513 How many reps does he need? he played last year, he had twice the chances Warren and the Freshman did. Its kinda like being forced. Don't like to feel of it. I agree with Deez_CLAN that the Freshman looks good. Very limited action. When I hear someone hyped and see them perform below expectations, sorry but I am gonna speak my mind. I just do not see it.
Dude if he can’t make that out pass in a dropped zone pass coverage with the receiver wide open, he better go home. There’s absolutely nothing special about it…nothing

You're not accounting for Tuttle though.
Thats not true 😂
I agree, Orji doesn't have the accuracy to get us back to the natty game. He also needs work on his footwork and progressions.

can you do this for a&m's game with their new coach collin klien
Your throw of the day from denegal was far from the throw of the day. Ideally that’s a td throw but it was underthrown
Idk man, that safety had the angle on a deeper throw. You might be right, but in the split second that decision was made he made the safer throw.

@@blankname6629 Ok man. You win. I really don't care that much.
Decent breakdown and analysis. I appreciate it. Way too early to pick starters, y’all.
New sub
You clearly didn't watch the game because Davis Warren was clearly the best QB in the spring game.
Davis Warren is the next quarterback.
Davis warren can run. He's done it before-- don't forget that. He's qb1.

Colston Lovelands the best TE in the country just wait

I think Jadyn Davis will start next season. I’m really high on him.

@@brucealbright4405which in game rep was a design pass play for Orgi? None he was only in to run to make team have to play 11 on 11
You better watch it again my friend. Seriously?????

My B. I always think of it as 98 since the rose bowl was in 98.
