CHARLY peaked at No. 4 on Springbok's Top 20 (and peaked 2 positions higher in Rhodesia now Zimbabwe), not a No. 1. Time has a habit of rewriting every line ... nice memories though. If folks don't know, CHARLY was originally a Spanish song by the group SANTABARBARA from Spain which became a hit in Europe. Sean Rennie's version was a cover version.
