This is at a time when they had poor Shiozaki not only doing all of Kobashi's moves. But they even put him in similar colored trunks for this match. Black and purple. I know he was supposed to be some kind of "prodigy" for Kobashi. But unless a wrestler can develop there own "character" and get it over with the fans. Trying to live up to the original as a successor is nearly impossible. Sure it's a honor but truly nobody can pull it off the same way. That's why i think it was unfair of NOAH to put that kind of pressure on Shiozaki. Thankfully, later on in years now he's broken away from that and developed his own style. Which really should tell NOAH let these guys develop there own gimmicks and style. It's not that hard getting over with the Japanese fans. American fans are a totally different story.

この潮崎の試合だけじゃなくて、勝彦、谷口とのシングルも面白かったですし丸藤、杉浦、北宮と当たったらどうなるのか期待してただけに、ノア対新日本の抗争がこれから面白くなるってところで提携が崩れたのが惜しいですね。
せめて柴田対潮崎のNEVER と勝彦対永田のGHCだけでもやってほしかったです。
