the Grammy thing is huge, so huge. i thought her and sam being on top of billboard hot 100 was a big deal, but this is epic. so happy for them both. such great queer representation in a time where it is seriously needed. i have been a stan for her for years and i don't think i've ever been happier. they have both put in the work and they both deserve the recognition.

I'm so proud of her. I've had to block over 100 vile transphobes on TikTok in the past 12 hours, so this is making me feel slightly better
I showed my brother the video for UNholy and he thought she was so gorgeous, and I mentioned she was Trans and he was stunned... I am gay he goes to gay bars with me regularly but he has never really seen anyone outside of Ms Jenner who was trans... well that he knew was trans at least... Ironically I believe in North Carolina she'd still be required to use the bathroom that aligns with the gender assigned to her at birth despite having already fully transitioned from my understanding... that to me is infuriating to think about... I have known several trans men and if they were required to enter a woman's bathroom the police would be called because they are big burly men with beards... idiotic politicians with no realization of how legislation will actually affect people... I look forward to meeting them in Hell for sure.

Crazy to me that she isn’t popular in Germany as an artist. She was in the public eye as a young teenager for a brief moment when she was on tv being open about her journey as a transgender kid. And even back then she was dead set on becoming a singer. So happy she made it.

Cool that she's got her own stuff out now, for a long time I only knew her as "the singer of many Amazon exclusive songs". Which upon reflection, whatever pays the bills, right?
She's been putting out her own EP's for a while now, as well, and her first full album was technically "Clarity" in 2019, though it's more of a collection of singles than a complete album. "Turn Off The Light" from 2018 counts as her first complete album in my book since it's actually a whole work within a cohesive theme, even if it's only EP-length.
