@@rustynellysjungle3166 If you wouldn't mind answering a quick question? We are a bit confused just how the order of things work. Do you place the order with the seller, then get the import certificate, then pay the seller?
@@troyp.roache3191 hey Troy, no, you must get your import permit first, as it takes up to 10 days to get the permit.

Hi! Is this above address XPLANT or your seller/marenum's address?
I found this address in bottom of their website..(Lee Hae-kyung Address: 66, Chungmin-ro, Songpa-gu, Seoul T8032)
it was different from yours, so I asked XPLANT for their address and they said they never got such a request for Canadian permit so please ask your country and didn't give me the address😥
Now I am lost if I use your address or website address.
Where did you get yours?
Let me know what you think..please.

For the “exporter” and we checked the box “grower same as exporter”.
We never mentioned “Marin in” on our application, because we didn’t know what shop we were going to buy from.... and our first few orders we not from Marinum.
Don’t worry, once you get the permit, you can buy from any seller in Korea for 3 years. Any questions, feel free to ask :)
Thank you for the information. This is exactly what I was looking for, that site is so confusing! I tried to order from the USA but I got stuck on the credit card info. Even though my card is 3d secure code enable it won't go thru on the site. The QR code on the website does not work anymore so I haven't been able to order on mobile either. A bit disappointing but...
Wow this is really super helpful . I tried ordering it online but when I started to pay it gave me an alert and it’s Korean so I stopped there and I said forget it , it’s so hard to order . So my question is , u may order it on the website itself right ? Just like checking out in Amazon ? Or u have to message ur guy first and send him all ur orders ? Coz if there’s no question , I would just want to checkout by myself . Also the phytosanitation certificate u don’t have to do the application if it’s more than 300k won? So u just directly go to shipping ? Does the website automatically put the shipping cost ? Or u do it urself and pick according the amount of purchases ? What about the weight ? Does it matter to the shipping cost ? Coz I intend to buy the ones in cluster already not one head . So that means it will be heavy . I was wondering if I will be charged coz I see another alert something about the weight . I know I have so many questions but I do really wanted to buy from Korea bec they are reasonable compared to my experiences in buying from ETsy that website is a rip off . Thank u so much for explaining everything. I do appreciate u .
Hi there! Thanks for all the great info! I have one question, you stated customs has a list the plants much match. Does this mean you can not order any plants from the site that state “no scientific name”. They do have a Korean name that you can google translate.
got to rush out but fascinated by your video on buying from Korea ...but im a bit thick and cant see how you do it from the uk
how do i find out what i need ...also i couldnt find the marenum store ...how does one find this shop
cheers
Thank you for this info and sharing this video. I’m thinking of applying for the license import but don’t know where to start. This is very helpful. Thank you again!
Np, we have the link for cfia in the description.
1) Make an account (my cfia)
2) down load and fill out an application to import plants. Fill it out on line, then print it and sign it.
3) go to your (my cfia) account and creat a new permission application. Upload your application.
4) wait about 10 days. The. You receive an email telling you to pay $35
5) go into (my cfia) and pay.
6) next day you should have your permit.
Permit should be good for 3 years for the country you apply for. And you can buy from any seller :)If you have further questions, please let us know. :)
@@rustynellysjungle3166 Thank you so much !🙏
Do you have to be a member to buy their plants? What is the ID because cant check out without log in
goodafternoon. may i ask what certificates is needed to import AGAVE TITONOTA to korea from japan? and the process of importing to korea from japan . Hoping for your kind response
Hi thanks for all the great info! When ordering from XPlant can you order from more than 1 store? And if you order from multiple stores do you need the phytosanitary documents for each one?
Thanks
Hey, yes you can order from more than 1 store at once, but we have never done this. They will issue you 1 photosanitary cert for all the stores, but I think there is a minimum of $100.00 / store... please check that. I would just stick to 1 store to start, just so you get Familiar with the process. It’s quite easy after the first go. Thx for watching :)
@@rustynellysjungle3166 thanks!
Good question!!!!!
@@rustynellysjungle3166 Im excited waiting for.your next shop. Maybe with another seller!!!!
I looked for Marenum but they're no longer there, do you know if they change their brand's name or something? 😢
Anywhere else you suggest to buy korean succulents from korea other than xplant?
HI.
I have a question to buy example, 12 plants.
you paid the phytosanitary certificate?
it is better EMS OR DHL
THANK YOU SO MUCH
EMS is easier, DHL is more paperwork but a bit faster, but for succulents, I would use ems as succulents don’t mind the long shipping :)
Hello! I am trying to order from Marenum but the 3D Certification issue is very confusing. I am in NY and my banks don't know what I am referring to?
Hey, Sorry, I thought I had responded :( Call your credit card company and ask for their on-line security or 2 step authorization. If they dont understand, tell them its when you make an online payment and you get a text from your credit card provider asking you to put in a code. Thx for watching :)
hi do you know if there is a limitation to how many succulents you can buy without having a resale license on this website?
Not sure, we have bought orders with 12 and orders with 50. No problem :)
do you apply the Import Permit yourself or the Xplant will do it for you?
We apply for our own import permit. The instructions are in the video. Not a hard process. Good luck and thanks for watching :)
Hi Rusty. I ordered succulents from Xplant and have had issues getting a refund. Do you have any suggestions on how to get my issue resolved?
Hey, oh, that doesn’t sound good! We never had any issues using the seller we used, he would always message us asking if we received the plants, and how where they? So sorry to hear that. :(
good afternoon place an order but I have not been able to cancel with my visa card due to 3d security
Hey, I would call visa directly. Thx can fix for you :)
So....since you seem to be very nice answering all the comments...I need your help!
1: Apply for the import permit through CFIA and wait to get approved.(include all the name of plants I am planning?)
2: Order(xplant), pay, contact the
seller and ask them to include invoice, ps and permit.
For permit, I can just email it? Or has to be original?
3: wait the shipment 🪴
Am I ok...?
Loved your video!
Thank you very very much!!!
Hey, yes,
1) apply for import permit first. Add some plants that you may be buying to your application. “Soil free”
2) permit arrives in up to 2 weeks
3) order plants from xplant.
4) pay for them
5) review your photosanitary cert
6) at the bottom of your photosanatary cert approval section there is a button to upload your import to your photosanitary cert.
7) upload your import permit....
8) wait patiently for your plants :)
@@rustynellysjungle3166
Thank you sooooo much!
@@rustynellysjungle3166
Sorry to bother you again...
About the import permit, in plant info section , if I am buying 10 different Echeveria, do I have to indicate full scientific name for each one(10 different names) ? like Echeveria Monroe, Echeveria elegans...etc. Or I could just write Echeveria sp using just 1 line (and not indicate what type of echeveria)?
This way I don't have to update anything and pay extra if I decide to buy some more different Echeveria in the future...?
One more....I don't see Crassula in CFIA’s Horticulture Plant List this means I can't import it?
Please advice...thank you!!!
Hey, it’s not a problem to add different Echeveria’s on your application for importing plants. Ie Echeveria Monroe, echeveria pink champagne etc.... they will review your application and make sure your plants are on the list.... once you get your permit, it will allow you to buy any plant on the list, from any seller, in the country you applied for, so no updating needed if you want to buy plants that were not in your application.
As for your crassula question, shipments can be rejected if plants are not on the Canadian plant list.... but the list is not gospel.... when we applied for our Korean plant import permit,
We were happy with Canada’s plant list EXCEPT Graptoveria. They weren’t on the list!!!! So I added a Graptoveria to our application..... and when our import permit was approved, it ready “all plants on the Canadian plant list” AND “Graptoveria spp”....... so, just cause it’s not on the list, doesn’t necessarily mean you can’t import it..... and the worst case scenario is that the remove it, or ask you to resubmit :). Gr8 questions! Thx
@@rustynellysjungle3166
Thank you again it was very helpful. I was so nervous importing succulents from Korea for the first time...but I think l can jump into it!!!
Do you have any seller recommendations for tropical plants?
Hey, we have only imported succulents ourselves, we posted a video of our contact. We just got our import permit for Indonesia, but we haven’t used it yet. We seem to keep getting invited to group orders. Are you from cananda? Or USA?
@@rustynellysjungle3166 I'm your neighbour in Manitoba =)
Cool, “hello neighbour” lol I would then recommend one of 2 things.... get an import permit and search Instagram for Indonesia sellers, there are hundreds and hundreds of them. The link to get an import permit is in the description of our “where to buy Korean succulents”
ua-cam.com/video/jpAGed_c2g8/v-deo.html
Or (as we have done), contact buyers and sellers in your local area and ask to be part of their group orders..... :)
Hi,Quick question I only want to buy 12 plans and I live in USA I still need to get a license import permit?
Hey, I believe USA citizens can purchase 12 or less plants without an import permit. Any more and you will need a permit. I would check to make sure, as I’m Canadian. Good luck, and happy importing :)
Thank you so much for replying
@Rusty & Nelly’s Jungle Besides xplant any other suggestion for getting succulents from korea?
I have a question PayPal too or just credit cards only? thank you
Hey, unfortunately there is no PayPal with this website. Other sites use PayPal, but make sure you don’t use the “friends and family” option on PayPal. PayPal doesn’t protect you when using “friends and family” option..... and some sellers ask for that
Thank you
Anytime :)
do i need to send him the permit and paperwork to put in box or does he do it ..
Hey, Sorry, I thought I had responded :( you upload your permit to the website. They look after the rest :) Thx for watching :)
I DO NOT LIVE IN THE USA.
I SENT THEM TO A SHIPPING WAREHOUSE IN MY COUNTRY, SORRY IF I WRITE BAD ENGLISH.
I HAVE ANOTHER QUESTION HOW MUCH IS THE GREATER QUANTITY OF PLANTS PER SHIPPING SO THAT THEY DO NOT ASK FOR ADDITIONAL DOCUMENTS, ONLY THE PHYTOSANITARY CERTIFICATE
In USA is under 12 plants. In Canada, you need one for even 1 plant. Please check with your county’s plant import requirements. Thx :)
Hi,
Say i buy a big plant succulent from marenum and it has 12 heads, does that count as 12 plants to u.s. already? How often can we buy 12 plants a time?
Hey, the 12 heads (if all connected) are 1 plant.
I don’t believe there are any time restrictions on how often you can import... check with your govt website. Thx for watching :)
So only canadian peoples can buy these succulent ?
Hey, no, this website is open to the world!! :) amazing succulents! Thx for watching :)
