Hence they both met in Italy in the mid '70s. The Frenchman was in touch with record companies, record producers and famous arrangers, as he had already started a carreer of his own. The guys around the duo liked them and thought they could work as a 'two men-two women' act, just like Abba. They called in the coloured singer from New Jersey and the other one from... I don't know, but her name was Kathleen Flynn, though I wouldn't suppose she was Irish... They immediately started working together like from early in the morning till late at night, they were very fond of their music although they might look and sound way too 'light' all wrapped up in their disco style... they met immediate success in Italy and a wee bit aboard in continental Europe with this tune, thus knew they had to keep this 'Abba-influenced' disco sound and somewhat refined looks (as well as Abba, indeed), but it was right after having found success with this tune that Kathleen Flynn left the band due to musical disagreements. I can easily tell you we all wanted to look like the moustache guy! Well, of course people like Miguel Bosé were definitely more popular and we did want to look like Miguel, but being a Passenger wasn't bad either! ;-) The hard part is... the lyrics, I'd love it if you could help me with it: there are no lyrics on the net concerning this tune, I'm trying to bring them out myself, but there's parts I can't really cope with, I just can't understand what they're singing because of the high pitched vocals...
