Im alive, happy, and living a life and a mental peace i never thought id get. thank you again travis, your part of the small group of people who showed me someone does care even when i was convinced no one did

It’s been a year since this video came out and being a part of this video was an incredible experience. At the time it felt like such a small thing to do but taking the step to not feel ashamed of the couple of struggles I was willing to share has been life changing. I have since been going to therapy, been put on medication that has been a life changer. I still struggle with feeling shame sometimes but just from the time this video came out to now the growth I’ve made is something I never thought possible. Thank you Girlfriends. This experience changed my life and I would never have been able to achieve the things I have this past year without this video. Anytime I need to remind myself how far I’ve come, all I need is to watch this video and remind myself how far I’ve come. It’s changed my life and I’ll forever be so thankful for it.

I assume many of us in the comments share some of these experiences and are too afraid to even share what plagues us with others. Let's all try to treat each other with a little more respect. These are rough times indeed.
