Could you possibly do a video on your Spotless water operation? Im trying to set up my system for next spring, and just cant quite figure out how to have a system in the trailer like yours to only be used for the rinse cycle? I would have a stationary tank like yours, gravity feeding to my pressure washer, but how to get enough pressure into the DI tank when need be? Is Gravity fed enough into the DI filters or do you pump your water into your spotless system for the rinse cycle?
Hey, Jeff! Love this video, this is exactly what I’ve been wanting to upgrade to. I’ve been operating out of the back of my suv for the past few months. What size trailer is that? And where did you go to get the metal fabrication for the frame? Love this!!!
@@skiper312 thank you 🙏 It’s a 5x10 size… in my opinion this is the perfect size trailer if you are going full time… 5x8 can work but it’s pretty tight and 6x12 is overkill. I had it diamond plated and all the framing/buildout done at H2O detail supply in West Covina, CA I will be building out another one just like soon and will do another more detailed video of the actual build out process
@ I got all the equipment you see in my trailer at H2O… I basically showed up there with an empty trailer and a blueprint of where I wanted everything to go and they installed it all and built it out for me
@@josepalacios81 thank you for the advice, but it’s only a small 5x10 trailer and doesn’t have its own brakes. That’s usually for a bit larger size trailers. It’s not so much the actual weight but more the momentum of the water in the tank when it’s full wants to make it keep surging forward.
@@topstardetailing If you get a bigger truck that will go away where do you have the tank placed in the trailer? we have a 275 gallon Ibc Tote, and its a touch in front of our 6x12 axles, if I tow it with our 4runner I feel the water surging that you speak of it was worse tho when the tank was more on the tongue of the trailer. If I tow it with my 1500 suburban it dont effect it as much but it still dont like to stop it either, using a 1500 pickup truck its fine, we just got a 1997 4x4 1500 ram to pull it with now should do much better.
@ I have the tank placed over the axle… I like the smaller suvs because they are shorter and have a much better turn radius. I rented a truck for a week and it made it alot more challenging to get in and out of the tighter areas for parking. I only have 100 gallon tank so it’s not too bad, a 275 I would definitely use a truck.
