Awesome brother your looking good now ! I'm going to lay my tower over in a few weeks to swap out ground plane antenna and going to do what you did with your coax . 73zzz
@@CaptainD717 It’s been a chore , but it’s finally almost finished . When it cools down I’m gonna hang the coax from the tower to the side of the house . Thanks for stopping by 👍
1/2 inch Heliax is the way to go when running serious power its what you need!!! just make sure you dont use the type with the Foam got to be teflon teflon dont melt foam turns to liquid at 10K
@@mr.stonerUDX714 I’ll have to look at the specs ,, but I’m not sure if they make 1/2 inch Heliax with a foam type dialectic center . But I’m only running close to half that much power (SSB) so hopefully 🙏 no issues
@@jgmopar SMP-50 or something like that , it’s a 50 footer and I had it maxed out most of the things I did So yeah I was up there My tower is 50 foot even And antenna about 4 feet above top of the top section tower mast 👍

That's a great idea to preserve the integrity of your coax.

I'm really surprised how few of you guys use the wireless coax. It will never tangle.
