Then I can set my roof brackets and plank under the skylight to do the project. Real game changer for certain. Worth the money!
@@robertheagy925 I can’t say for sure but my theory is that it would not work well on a composite or wood roof. I think it needs the asphalt granule base to make the foam stick and not slip. Just my opinion having worked on just a few composite and wood roofs

Wow, that's a magic trick. The telestep ladder you use. Can't find them anymore but they had adjustable feet with 6 inch diameter footing. Gripped very well on 4/12 asphalt.
Amazing! Back in my day we had no pitch hoppers. We had to make do with 2x’s and my grand dads Stanley roof brackets with the coveted sweet hart label. No fall protection either. This is a good product due to the shingle change that roofers do every 25 years this shows consistency of durability shingle companies when we add the shingles great video man that tool is very powerful but yes harness recommended for sure....
I have a steep tomorrow i get to finally try it on a steep. They hold a pile of bundles andwhere no probs and you can put at the edge of the roof your chucking shingles, n the granules wont be such a problem at the edge when your throwing.
I was wondering how they work on older asphalt shingle roofs. The UA-cam video I saw the other day was, like this one very affirmative but they were showing roofers on new shingles. The mansard roof here is not new, but not so far gone as to be unsound. Reason is, I have some dormers to paint and this product would be great for me to get up on there. I still have box gutters so I can use a short ladder section footed in the gutter but we will need a new roof soon and we are thinking about building over them and installing Alcoas or the gutter helmet for low maintenance. Then I will need these things or a manlift machine to reach the dormers in the future.
Damm that great I just order one after my roofing guy came to inspect my roof and he showed it to me. I have a 10/12 picture and it's steep but not that steep I just wanted some thing to use so I do not have to rock-harnes safety my self to the roof to paint my dormers trim.

Easy to make for under $30. Plywood scraps, wood glue, screws, gorilla glue spray adhesive, 1" medium density cushion foam from a craft store. I even softened the landings for kneeling on with 4mm EVA foam, all for under $30. Pitch Hopper is $200. Not a lot of skill required to make one.
That is dangerous telescopes ladder you got there…I threw mine a way because it slowly collapsed while I was on it….it was locked on both sides…I was lucky it was only 5 feet off the ground…
