lagu kenangan gw, 8 Januari 1992, gw ditugaskan kantor ke daerah asal gw, sebagai anak baru di kantor, dengan senang hati menerima tugas ini. Meski ini untuk pertama kali merantau dan akan menjadi anak kost. Masih terbayang mama gw berlinang air mata melepas keberangakatan gw pagi habis shubuh, sementara adik cewek gw gak bisa berkata, dan papa gw ngatar sampai bandara SoeTa. Meski papa lebih tegar tapi gw tahu papa juga merasakan sedih haru, sama seperti yang gw rasa. Dan diawal masih jaman kost lagu ini sering diputar stasiun radio fm lokal pada acara jelang malam. Bikin kangen Jakarta dgn segala problemnya, dan tentunya sama keluarga gw disana.

Saw this in a Richard Grieco film and I swear this song caught my ear in seconds. This is a heartbreaker of a song. Beautiful. The singing is top notch. Wild what happens when someone releases a song into oblivion, but it lives on because it's so good. If I was a major artist, I would cover this song. It's a total hit.

i remember everyone i knew , living in Austin TX in 1989 when this was released was expressing themselves either with the art's or media or some way creative and this was one of our background sound track music for us all.
