Weres the transmission pressure sensor located on a 2017 chevy spark ,I would greatly appreciate it , an mechanics like you are a certain breed ,great job.
Couldn’t tell you for sure, but I’m guessing it’s internal
How long would it take you to do that swap if you weren't videoing and you were in your groove?
I really try to not take too much time on videoing because I’m on the clock so not much different. Thanks for the question and the comment!
my transmission went out on my 2015 spark, how long does it take to get the cvt transmission? Im taking It to the dealership because it is still under warranty and im trying to see how long it should typically take.
I’m guessing probably a two week turnaround time but it could be a little bit less just ask for dealer they should give you an idea
I'm a bit unfamiliar with chevys. Is this the same set up, mechanically speaking, as a 2017 spark.
Probably but you’d have to look at the video and look at your car to see if they’re similar Good luck thanks for the car man
Around how long did this service take? Great work!
About to post the world record video where I pulled the Chevy spark out in 55 minutes back in an hour and a half or 2 hours. Plus whatever the rebuild takes.
Looks like the job with the cost of the trans is two times what the whole car is worth.
Yeah probably won’t have to do too many more of these! Thanks for the comment!
Locally, Central Southwest Virginia, the job was priced at $6K. The value of it is $3,350. I have a very expensive, very ugly lawn ornament now.
Do you know where the 2014 Chevy Spark transmission oil pressure sensor goes? Thanks
I’m guessing that’s internal probably be there behind the valve body.
@@doingstuffwithdylan4367 now I need remove the valve body do you know how to remove it
@@edwinromero8157 I was just guessing it’s probably behind the front pan but you may have to pull the unit to get to the pressure sensor I’m not positive
Can you pull the engine and transmission from the top and replace the transmission out of the car?
I have a 2017 spark tranny's needs changed can i bring this to you to do the job.
I believe these cars are the very definition of "a lemon" and was destined to fail shortly after the mileage warranty expires. If Chevrolet had any integrity, they would scrap the Spark model... at least the automatic transmission version. My big German heritage hands would never fit in that tiny engine so I either have to pay a mechanic with small hands or use skinny tools coupled with mechanic language (aka cussing).
Ridiculous, the car isn't worth the parts and crazy labor, junk it, planned obselencense.
Excellent job. Thanks for sharing the video. Definitely NOT a DIY driveway weekend project.
Thanks and nope I would dread it!
