Felix and have something in common, we both have a Bag of Magic Tricks! Love Filix the cat! Part of my cartoon experience as a little kid in California.
He used to be mine, too! Until I found that he only has a moustache (as his moustache covers the entire bottom of his face, hence it looks like he additionally has a beard), I always thought he looked like Groundskeeper Willie. Why's he called 'Professor Nutmeg', and why's his Havana cigar smoking, gruff voiced, bulldog henchman called 'Rock Bottom'? Villains very often have particular names for a reason.
0:29 here is felix the cat, GAY... carefree.. out for a stroll with his little bag of tricks.. day dreaming again saying "look at all those signs!" why felix doesnt even see them-
No. It was animated by Paramount Pictures Cartoon Studios which the company who brought Harvey Toons and Popeye cartoons. Felix the Cat's voice provided by Jack Mercer, the man behind the voice of Popeye the Sailor. But this TV series, "Felix the Cat" are now currently owned by NBCUniversal Television Distribution (through DreamWorks Classics/Classic Media).
I used to watch this show as a child. I couldn't remember any of it before watching this. Walking around with his eyes closed...I got walloped in the face by a pole for doing that. I never did it again.
@Phundaze Hey Andy, I can't beleive u wrote that. I was about to write the same thing. I remember my childhood years in Southern California, coming home from school. Turning on our brand new Color TV set and watching FELIX THE CAT; singing along the opening theme and wondering where I could get a bag of tricks like the one he had. I think now as a grown up I always carry lots of useful stuff in my backpack , maybe it is Felix's influence on me!

The narrator meant "gay" as in "Happy, Joyous, Gleeful"
"Here is Felix the Cat, gay." - The Narrator

It's obvious Winston Sharples had his hand in these cartoons...!
Thanks for the post
Relief this wasn’t marked as “for kids”.
Loved him on the Big brother Show. Boston Mass.
7:02 🤣🤣🤣
Felix & a nice kiddy lunch, egg salad sammiches or boloni & chips + this professor reminds me of rudy guuliani
7:02 Professor spanks himself
This was never the Felix I was familiar with. The Felix I know made friends with Neptune, King Cole, and a Golden Goose.
The Professor is my role model!

Although The Animation Can Sometimes Get HB-esque.
0:33 GAY
He means Gay as in Happy, Joyous, Gleeful, not Gay as in Homosexual.

This was always my favorite show as a kid. But, I doubt even if the Professor ever got his bag, he wouldn't know how to use it properly.
i love his moustache :p
OMG, I SO remember this
let's just say that the word gay had completely different connotations in 1958...meant happy then, lol
As the last name "Gaylord" lol
Nice moustache professor!

Stop stealing, the professor.
Felix is pretty smug and self-satisfied with that bag of tricks, isn't he? I wouldn't mind if the Professor got the better of him sometimes...
Awe, but he's so gay, and carefree...
Well freinds.I'm Gay too.
Very gay.
More gay than a gay person winning a lottery.
I don't know ... Felix sounds like a pretty gay name to me.
