That's cool. Lay a bunch of these on busy roads and walkway traffics. Our steps and wheels can provide the energy we need with these. And when it rains, the pressure from the raindrops will do the work for us.
I was thinking about this idea for a couple months in my senior year. Never really tried to go any deeper than "wouldn't it be neat if there were like, magnets in car handles and wheels or something to generate electrical currents". Glad to see this is being sought after!
How awesome❣️ This world needs more thinkers, like YOU⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ DON'T STOP! Maybe u will become a scientist/developer of something like this in your future❣️❣️❣️❣️❣️
it's make sense if a research take a lot of time, power and.....money, which all of those can not be free, especially the last one, so the professor rely on any available source of income to be able to start or continue his project, and most of time the source comes from either the university, government, or business, and as you know that in big countries...business play major role of the country well being, then the professor my not continue his project or maybe already finished it and not doing any further action, due to relationship with business world why suspecting the business world? see Elon Musk, he keeps doing the breakthrough, and I doubt he's spend most of his time testing stuff in a lab, and he's from the business side, if you want to know how hard it is for a brilliant scientist to make his idea comes true without having power or money, check Nikola Tesla
At least he took a shot @ a time frame! Better to focus on the fact that although new developments can take longer than hoped/ expected, this is AMAZING ingenuity that is worth MUCH time to pursue and develop❣️❣️❣️. I pray for continued success and safety of scientists to see this to fruition😇❣️🙏 ...and look forward to experiencing it! To all those who gave a thumbs up ...what have YOU developed, esp that could have such great impact across the globe?
That's amazing... I used the same process to make a fully mechanical lightbulb several years ago. With gears grinding as if a flint kept getting a spark and light would light up from the continuous light powered solely by a mainspring... I hope they succeed.
So a static gen with a semi-conductor ? This s was made 200yrars ago? How about take my idea and put it in roads already. Piezoelectric plus this and static are a great combo to start off with. Good luck
same for the flying cars, the perpetual motors, the Joe cells; everything comes down to what people want or believe is possible and what they will allow in the markets, as well as what gets siphoned off into the black-budget operations by the cabal.
Just add some well designed Peltier devise and some well thought optimized thermoradiative diode and you improve the solar panel's efficiency to new heights of performance. Triboelectric generators have been here as long as I can remember. They can produce very high volts to tens of thousands of volts but their currents still remain terriblly low. Some researchers have been working on switched-capacitor-convertors based on fractal design to come out of this impasse. It seems quite promising.
Maybe it is more like a device that fits into any shoe because I doubt shoe manufacturers would be up to the task of warranting electronics in shoes. That makes more sense. But the key is efficient storage on a nanoscale.
nowhere near what he suggested. Really bad reprudcability. as an experiment it's cool but for real world use on a large scale not usefull and very inefficient but for nanogenerators it's quite a big thing.
Excelente, estoy con unas experiencias propias con un generador triboelectrico con grafeno... espero realizar pronto una publicacion al respecto para mejorar la autonomia de los autos electricos utilizando la friccion del aire para autorecargar las baterias miestras este en movimiento ...
So that's what's happening between my detoxing heavy metals, the PVC windows and floors, and my powerlines at night when the environment is more electric and I'm magnetic and can't sleep... ohhhhh. I'm a big battery.
Still research is going on, the issue associated with this is the very low power output. Although he claims 1000V, the current will be in micro-Amps, which can light LEDs with very less intensity.
We have invented a new energy technology, Nope. I thing the right term is "We have discovered a new way to harvest types of energy, trough technology".
There is nothing in the video about harvesting energy, which I take to mean storing the energy. That is he big rub, storing it efficiently for later use. This is all done in the moment without battery backup.

The shortcoming in these TEG devices is their extremely low current output. But their future is bright.

Hey so it's been 5 years

a large step forward
Well technically he said "fei yeas" so I guess we've been had.
9 years here
At least he took a shot @ a time frame!

To all those who gave a thumbs up ...what have YOU developed, esp that could have such great impact across the globe?
This technology is amazing and it should already be fully integrated into all levels of society, especially for struggling or developing communities.
5 years is almost up. Implementation seems to have hit a snag.
Annnnd ANOTHER 5 yrs has come.
I wonder what the blockage is!
It's been 9 years.. in Ireland when raining for most of the year..is a market
lol yup
That's amazing... I used the same process to make a fully mechanical lightbulb several years ago. With gears grinding as if a flint kept getting a spark and light would light up from the continuous light powered solely by a mainspring... I hope they succeed.
Cool, what material do you step on ? thanks
This didn't age well. It's been 10 years.
so i need them now
it's been 6 years
9 years still counting……
it's been nearly 10 years.
Triboelectric Nano Gen is definately another method to expand on harnessing energy.
So a static gen with a semi-conductor ? This s was made 200yrars ago?
How about take my idea and put it in roads already. Piezoelectric plus this and static are a great combo to start off with. Good luck
It’s 2018?
Which is the paper that the photo @ 1:14 refer to?
when will this be available, its been 10 year already!, something didnt go right perhaps

Could you add it to solar panels to make them more efficient?

After 10 thousand years, its still pending patent.
Professor Lin Wan is awesome
It's 2023 and here in the UK I am sure that this will be a multibillion £ invention with all the rain!
Crazy cool! Yea...energy is all around us! Batteries... Terrible for energy. Do much loss! This...great potential! Massive potential! I'm liking this!
8 years and counting
I'd wear shoes that charged all day, then at night discharge back into my cell phone😁👩💻 6 years
Maybe it is more like a device that fits into any shoe because I doubt shoe manufacturers would be up to the task of warranting electronics in shoes. That makes more sense. But the key is efficient storage on a nanoscale.
2020 calling. where can i buy components
Interesting, good luck with your project. 😎
Fascinating. I wonder where the tech is at now capabilities wise.

5 years, I thought this guy was hunted by the Government of PRC
thats 5 years ago..what happened?

Muy interestante. Esta cuatro anos mas tarde ahora - tiene dispostivos? (my main language is English so excuse my poor Spanish).
@@songshineoriginalmusic not sure he does, but I sure love the idea
He said 5 years 10 years ago? Large scale yet? Lets gooooooo
"meanwhile.... 5 years later..."
I can imagine he once stopped for a minuted and decided - it's not worth it, they don't deserve it. F it
Awesome research. Thanks.
hey, its been 7 years
ok, passed almost 7 years, where it is?
It's been 9 year 😢
It's been 60 seconds. Where is this tech?
So that's what's happening between my detoxing heavy metals, the PVC windows and floors, and my powerlines at night when the environment is more electric and I'm magnetic and can't sleep... ohhhhh. I'm a big battery.
We will not take too long, 5 years.
3 years left guys.
Just a few months now guys. Guys??
.......
9 year dy
....and now 7 years.
Game Changing 🎉
Five months more exactly 😂
9 years, still nothing to talk about?
Hey so its been 7 years

Rick's miniverse. Googebox!
The same technology is used by the tic toc
5 years later. Has this even been used for light up shoes yet?
roll out all the energy harvesters soon. it's worth it. all harvested energy can be sent to charge a home's battery bank.

what happened to this technology? I'm writing this in 2022

how many micro amps does it generate ?
give me a number
Mental note - call my stock broker to yank my investment 😂
Hey its been 9yrs hahaha
awesome :)
