Bangladesh isn't a right country for franchise concept. Lack of discipline, quality control, pricing, copyright issues, food safety, lack of tourism there are hundreds of problems make bangladesh not a ideal place for McDonald's. Regardless of unhealthy food McDonald's itself has a global reputation and they don't want to ruin that.

One of the reasons for the failure of Burger King is its inability to operate properly. I live in Dhanmondi but my office is in Mohammadpur. I get delivery in proper time in Dhanmondi but not in Mohammadpur. When I ordered for delivery at the same time in Burger King and Dominos, it took Dominos 35 minutes to deliver but 1 hour and 25 minutes by Burger King though it takes less time to make burger than pizza. They have outlets in close proximity in Dhanmondi (two branches in road 2 and one opposite New Market) but no branch in Mohammadpur. They have bad service as well - I was misbehaved by their people in Dhanmondi for wanting non-cold Coca Cola but I got the same service in the Bashundhara branch. I think the authority of Burger King is inefficient.

আমাদের দেশে ডোমিনোস, বার্গার কিং, পিৎজা হাট, কেএফসি এবং অন্যান্য অনেক বিদেশি ফ্র্যাঞ্চাইজি ব্যবসা করছে কিন্তু আপনি কিভাবে বলতে পারেন যে বাংলাদেশ ম্যাকডোনাল্ডের জন্য সঠিক জায়গা নয়? যদি নিকট ভবিষ্যতে ম্যাকডোনাল্ড আসে, তাহলে তখন আপনি কি বলবেন? আশা করি বিশ্বের কাছে নিজের দেশকে ছোট করবেন না।

আমি বার্গার কিং এ প্রথম খাই ২০১৪ সালে মালয়েশিয়ায়। আমাদের এখানে তারা শাখা খোলার পর খেয়ে খুব হতাশ হয়েছিলাম। বার্গারের আকার এবং মান আমার কাছে খুব খারাপ মনে হয়েছে। পরে আবার বাইরেও খেয়েছি আমার কাছে পুরাই আকাশ পাতাল পার্থক্য লেগেছে। McDonald's থেকেও বার্গার কিং এর বার্গার আমার কাছে (ব্যক্তিগত মত) ভালো লাগে। Burgar King এর মত একই কথা Secret Recipe এর ক্ষেত্রেও খাটে। বাইরে খাবারের পরিমাণ এবং মান অনেক ভালো। আমাদের এখানে দাম অনেক বেশি আর মানেও অনেক খারাপ। মূলত মান ধরে রাখাটা একটা বিশাল চ্যালেঞ্জ। Wimpy's নামের আরেকটা ফুড চেইন ছিল ২০০০ সালে, তিন বছর ব্যবসা করে তারাও অপারেশন বন্ধ করে চলে যায়। অনেক ভালো একটা ভিডিও বানিয়েছেন ভাই।
ঠিক বলেছেন ভাই,ভেজালের দেশে উম্পি টিকতে পারে নাই,এদেশের ব্যবসায়ীর যেমন চুতিয়া,কাস্টমারাও সস্তায় বেজাল খাইতে পছন্দ করে,তাই কাস্টমারও তেমন চুতিয়া,একটা কথা আছে না,শিয়ালের পেটে নাকি ঘি হজম হয় না।

McD's food quality isn't the best tbh as in taste wise. Even being in Kuwait, where you will find the best quality food, I'm not fond of McD's burgers. I'd honestly prefer Burger King or Wendy's over McD any day.

Just because your taste bud is different doesn’t mean, McDonald’s burger is bad. McDonald’s as a brand is more popular than any other fast food chain in Germany. I worked in one of them. The way they regulates their franchise, I don’t think it would be easier for them to do the same job in Bangladesh. Hence McDonald’s will lose their credibility, that’s why they don’t want to come to BD. There is a KFC in Khulna, which racks up bad reviews every single day.

Bangladesh isn't a right country for franchise concept. Lack of discipline, quality control, pricing, copyright issues, food safety, lack of tourism there are hundreds of problems make bangladesh not a ideal place for McDonald's. Regardless of unhealthy food McDonald's itself has a global reputation and they don't want to ruin that.

One of the reasons for the failure of Burger King is its inability to operate properly. I live in Dhanmondi but my office is in Mohammadpur. I get delivery in proper time in Dhanmondi but not in Mohammadpur. When I ordered for delivery at the same time in Burger King and Dominos, it took Dominos 35 minutes to deliver but 1 hour and 25 minutes by Burger King though it takes less time to make burger than pizza. They have outlets in close proximity in Dhanmondi (two branches in road 2 and one opposite New Market) but no branch in Mohammadpur. They have bad service as well - I was misbehaved by their people in Dhanmondi for wanting non-cold Coca Cola but I got the same service in the Bashundhara branch. I think the authority of Burger King is inefficient.

অন্যদিকে এমসিডি এর সবকিছুই অনেক উচ্চমানের। সবার থেকে ভিন্ন মেথোডে কার্যক্রম চালায়। সেজন্যই সবার টপে অবস্থান করছে বর্তমানে৷ বাংলাদেশে আসলে সেগুলো মেইনটেইন সম্ভব না। সেজন্য আসবে না।

আমি বার্গার কিং এ প্রথম খাই ২০১৪ সালে মালয়েশিয়ায়। আমাদের এখানে তারা শাখা খোলার পর খেয়ে খুব হতাশ হয়েছিলাম। বার্গারের আকার এবং মান আমার কাছে খুব খারাপ মনে হয়েছে। পরে আবার বাইরেও খেয়েছি আমার কাছে পুরাই আকাশ পাতাল পার্থক্য লেগেছে। McDonald's থেকেও বার্গার কিং এর বার্গার আমার কাছে (ব্যক্তিগত মত) ভালো লাগে।
Burgar King এর মত একই কথা Secret Recipe এর ক্ষেত্রেও খাটে। বাইরে খাবারের পরিমাণ এবং মান অনেক ভালো। আমাদের এখানে দাম অনেক বেশি আর মানেও অনেক খারাপ। মূলত মান ধরে রাখাটা একটা বিশাল চ্যালেঞ্জ। Wimpy's নামের আরেকটা ফুড চেইন ছিল ২০০০ সালে, তিন বছর ব্যবসা করে তারাও অপারেশন বন্ধ করে চলে যায়।

McD's food quality isn't the best tbh as in taste wise. Even being in Kuwait, where you will find the best quality food, I'm not fond of McD's burgers. I'd honestly prefer Burger King or Wendy's over McD any day.

Just because your taste bud is different doesn’t mean, McDonald’s burger is bad. McDonald’s as a brand is more popular than any other fast food chain in Germany. I worked in one of them. The way they regulates their franchise, I don’t think it would be easier for them to do the same job in Bangladesh. Hence McDonald’s will lose their credibility, that’s why they don’t want to come to BD. There is a KFC in Khulna, which racks up bad reviews every single day.
