Got mine yesterday and it is exactly like this. Once I got it in tune it stayed that way through multiple bar pulls. Plays very easily and sounds great. I love it.

I really love the fact that this guitar has the bridge pickup wired to the tone knob. A Strat’s pickup can be so darned bright.

Very Cool Demo Review. Thankyou. Scored a 2nd hand immaculate Pacifica with a Vox Valvetronix Amp for bargain price. Really was only interested in the Amp but found The Pacifica has become one of my favorite guitars. Such an awesome Comfortable and Fun Guitar to play.

I also bought this guitar as beginners one just a week ago. However, the amp is not the same being Blackstar 40v2. Hope it is a good selection too. Looks like you can produce a pretty wide range of music styles with this guitar and that amp. I just wish I could play it like him ; )

This is a better built guitar with better pickups than a Fender Squire Affinity Strat.
My 012 sounds amazing with my Vox AC15. Honestly! Can't say the same about those squire's pickups into the Vox...you'd need to upgrade to Duncans right away to sound any good.

I hit like on this long ago, and yet I come back and it didn't have my up arrow? What is UA-cam doing? I bought the package after watching this, but mine came with the Yamaha amp instead of the Line 6 Spyder. I really wanted the Line 6, but at this price cannot complain.

These beat all squires, even better than a MIM I'd put them on par with a american standard (neck is better on the yamaha) , the guitar is a solid beast. Not a "beginners guitar" Fender snobs get to grips, you are being ripped off!

Every guitar and amp can play with distortion. Cheaper amp and pups best distortion . But only clean tone is relevant for quality. Why no one makes reviews with a clean tone? And we would like to know whether the pickups are ceramic or alnico and whether there is a pull switch for the split coil for the humbucker. This is more important for review than distortion.

It's spelled Squier and I'd go with the Bullet HSS. I bought a used one for a professional guitarist that has at least 10 guitars but had no Strat. He loves it and says it's very good

Strange...take contact to the seller...it should have it. I think quite universal...just check the fitting before getting it. But first...ask for it from the original seller. Did you get the manual and L-key though?

What are the key differences between the pacifica 012 and 112?
The 112 is the solo version of the guitar (dosent come with the pack). And the 012 is the pack version. There isnt really anydifference
Edit: the 012 and the 112 are conpletely different. Credit to the guy down below
The 112 is proper tuned;)
The main difference is that the 112s are made of Alder and the 012 are made from Agathis. The humbucker on the 112 also has adjustable pole pieces whereas the 012 doesn't.
@@matturner6890 While this little Line 6 is designed to be a decent beginner amp, the Pacifica truly shines on a great tube half stack. All the different tones are truly awesome, and yes the 112J is a superior guitar. The stock humbucker sounds great, but a friend of mine swapped it out for a Dimarzio Crunch Lab on his Pac and omfg it now sounds godly ! It equals/surpasses any Fender Strat I've ever owned/played.... Yamaha Pacifica is the best quality guitar you can get in that price range, sound, playability, etc.

How much is this starter pack
I’m looking for something that I can play rock (like Red Hot Chili Peppers, nirvana, guns n roses, Queen, Pink Flyod) as well was metal music like (Metallica, Iron Maiden etc). Do you think this guitar is a good fit for me? And is the pickup a flyod rose? Kinda scared to dive in to flyod rose ones. Btw, I’m an absolute beginner. Really would appreciate it if anyone could help out :)
Patrick Star: I bought this guitar as my first el guitar and almost as a beginner with small budget. I have used it more than one year now. I think that it is a great choice for a beginner who wants to do different styles and learn to play without spending huge money. It is very ergonomic and fits to my hand so well. If you are a total beginner, I think this is a good tool to start. It is versatile and you can try different genres. But if you want to focus on a certain style like heavy metal, this might not be the best choice. Dagan is a wizard to find great tones with these instruments but he is not a beginner. Maybe Epiphone LP Special 2 or Ibanez RG series or Jackson 22 Dinky are better for heavy metal genre but the differences are not so huge in this entry level price range. Dagan demonstrates also a set of beginner metal guitars to pick. But for a versatile beginner multipurpose guitar I can recommend this (or the slightly bigger brother 112V). I have had no single problem with it and only one string I broke by mistake. Tuning is easy and stays pretty well. Naturally if you later want to use money and upgrade it with higher quality components, you can make it better sounding. In this price range all the components are budget friendly...but this does not mean crap in this guitar. The pickups are (I believe) Korean made G -brand Samshin or else?! The bridge is vintage style pretty light pot metal one but for me (I hardly use the bar) it has been totally sufficient even though not the top level one. FR bridge may be too challenging for a beginner. It is important that you pick a proper amp to get the sound you like to focus. For metal I use this guitar with Fender Mustang 1 V2 (amp that Dagan also demonstrates in another video) ... not saying that the best gear for the purpose but ...not bad either.
