For soloing, I like to go in with an insured melee weapon. Preferably dual kodachis because the combat knife doesn’t one shot.
based on my experience. I'm pretty sure your weapons don't keep their rarity when you extract. I found a purple gun from the Mystery Box and exfilled. Next game that gun was a common
Yeah, your weapons go to the lowest rarity (common) and lose all their pack-a-punch upgrades. I wish they made a few challenges where you could permanently upgrade a weapon and have it every time you start a new match or have a wallet where you can bring in a certain amount of money into the game.
You keep the attachments a legendary rarity is lost but the attachments stay

I use soloing for just making a good collection of perks and mods, and then go in with a team that is communicative to really make things go quick. This game mode is awesome and keep up the good work
Agreed, first I hated It because I did not understand it. Now I love it and doing the same as you. Socking up for the later harder challenges and team play

@@unclejuan2274 yes, you can help them if you want or they can help you or atleast revive you if you are lucky or just ignore them lol. Not sure if you get rewards with playing with non squad players however. The way I play is solo for now and collect as many items and rewards as possible and just follow the steps they want you to take and exfill. Complete tier one first and get good at that level and unlock the missions to get to tier 2. Play smart and use load out wisely. I like this mode now since I’m understanding more and more. I would also recommend that you watch how to play videos on UA-cam
I've never played MWZ before and am a solo player, what do i do when teams take all the contracts? I'm here specifically for camo grind.
Solo isn’t impossible, but it is really difficult to get the ball rolling.
I recommend avoiding “aether extraction” at all costs even with a competent team cuz the Mercs can absolutely wreck you . Plus the time limit within the contract makes things really difficult.
Defend the ground stations i avoid as a solo player, but doable with a friend/friends.
Everything else, spores, escort, opening the safe, etc can be done solo.
I'm really enjoying the challenge solo. Also yea 100% avoid aether extractions please listen to this guy
Ive only been soloing and ive been fine. Stamin up and Jugg is a necessity. That and drop your secondary to run with fists so you can move faster in the red zone. I normally go with elimination bounties and hlz transport and had about 20-25mins in red zone
I wouldn't be scared of this contract. Once you get it down it is one of the fastest contracts you can complete along with eliminate, spore and hlz transport contracts.
Aether extraction contracts are the most sweatiest contract in MWZ so far. If you have other options, please choose that.
Question, if I exfil with an orange weapon, and come back in w it, do I just pack punch it? Or do I need to find another orange weapon? Cause I notice it becomes gray when I come back into another game. Thanks in advance
You need to find an orange weapon again. When exiting the rarity does not stay only the attachments
As a solo player my best advice is to have a plan before you queue, keep distance from enemies, and don't try to do everything in one match
i dont know why but when im extracting, it keeps taking my aether tools, aetherium crystals and some perk cans (not all, just certain ones), i extract with a full large backpack of these extractable items and when im back in the lobby i have 2 perk cans in my bag instead of it being completely full.

Solo is fun killed mega abomination few times was fun but mainly stay in tier 2 area to help people out
Frost Blast is much better for clutching, especially on the extract chopper. Can just run in there with 5 seconds to go and pop it to keep them off you

I noticed that any gun you exfil with automatically becomes a white rarity when you equip it in your future games.
Yup that's why u need to get legendary ones so u can get 5 attachments

How do you play solo?
This isn't a solo guide. This is just a beginners guide.
All solo players are a one man army
I have played solo in the tier 3 zone multiple times also killing the contract mega abomination. So far one of my best solo games is 4 contracts completed in the tier 3 zone with 2 of them being mega abominations. Sorry to say but you cannot call this video anywhere near an ultimate guide. This guide is like an intro to zombies and has no pro tips. Hit me up if you want to have some great gameplay.
@TheGovernor2003 Yah sure I will jot some things down but I'm going to play a game real quick. I'm infilling solo with a tier 2 crystal, tier 1 crystal, an epic aether tool plus perks (I almost have all the schematics probably like 75 percent of them). Here is a quick game changer tip that will help you annihilate mega abominations with a little luck or at the very least make it manageable. TURRETS TURRETS TURRETS lol sorry but they are amazing. At the very least a sentry gun placed down will help kill off any mini bosses. If you take the time to hit an infected spore stronghold, a mercenary stronghold or even loot chest in the tier 3 zone you will eventually find turret circuits that activate preset turrets around the map. If one of these preset turrets are by a mega abomination, activate it and watch it destroy the mega abomination and clear the area for you. Also, a little expensive but a juggernaut killstreak from the tier 3 shop will kill off a contracted mega abomination.
@TheGovernor2003 here is a cool tip I just utilized, and it is an old one. Have a friend in a separate in-game party with some line of communication between the two of you. Click matchmake at the same time and see if the game says Launching at the same time for both of you. If it does not then back out right away. If it does than you both will spawn in the same game and then take your teams to meet up together and form a 6-man team. Sorry I've been absorbed in the game.
@TheGovernor2003 Get as many self-revives as you can and practice running around in the red zone without killing zombies but killing hell hounds when they chase you. This will get you used to staying on the move safely.
@TheGovernor2003 For solo I either infill with a purple aether tool or get an assault rifle wall buy in the tier 3 zone (I believe they are something like the Holger 556, MTZ 556 and MCW) as soon as possible with stamina up, jugg and quick revive.
@TheGovernor2003 Keep one gun slot empty or equipped with a light gun like a handgun to outpace zombies as fast as possible and save your life when only one or two more hits will down you.
