@Vortex bro shut up there is hundreds to thousands of comments obviously anything you say someone has already put it but you don't need to mention it because I'm not scrolling through hundreds of other comments to find the same thing🤦🏼♂️
The reason six betrayed you was either because her soul was taken and her “shadow side” made her, or since this is the first time six has seen mono without his mask on, she thought he resembled the tall man, so she thought he would become him. She thinks dropping him will save everyone but in reality the reason he turned was because she dropped him
that's actually really smart, idk if you've played/watched the first one but the boss at the end(the lady why) could be six and after she dropped Mono, she became a monster from guilt and mono became a monster from anger/betrayal. SO maybe all the monsters you fight are just inner demons and the dark parts of the character you play as. I believe the monsters weren't bad and were just trying to stop their past self doing a dumb thing,eg. the lady why trying to get six,not to hurt her but to stop her from hurting mono or (if its set after she mono) then she could be trying to hurt six(herself) because she hates herself for what she did to six
@@Luna-dv5uz that is the best thing i have ever heard. i love how you took the game and resembled life problems and after i read thing and thought about it it made so much sense
or maybe she dropped him to get revenge. We can't really say for sure what the thin man does to Six after capturing her. he probably tortured her, and being that monster looked like a painful existence. My guess is she figured out Mono and the thin man were the same person, and left him to die as revenge.
The music box was the music box from the very first bit of the game where mono meets six and he's playing that exact music box in the cell then mono breaks down the door with the axe similar to the way he does to get back to six and destroy the music box "their last core memory if you will" and that's why their is so many random items in the main tower because everyone's core memory that have been twisted it turns them into a giant monster like what happened to six :)
Just searched this up why she betrayed mono :Since Mono is not wearing a mask or hat anymore, Six can clearly see Mono's face. Before she goes on to drop him, she looks at him closely and finds resemblance with the Thin Man. This is why she decides to eliminate this threat. But the irony in this is that Mono becomes the Thin Man because of Six's betrayal.
My brother's theory is that anger and hatred overcame Mono and called younger Mono to open the door for him. Six was first found locked in a room with the music box, right? Well, the tall man had given them to Six for a reason, but slowly turning her into a twisted nightmare... Later on Younger Mono broke her out and they "stopped" the tall man and saved Six, but as you said, Six recognised Mono tot he tall man and wanted to get rid of him... But as she failed Mono survived and became the tall man, making the endless circle we see Daz playing.
Personally, I dont think its because he resembled the Thin Man (aside from their powers). I think it's because Six never saw Mono as a friend, the way Mono felt towards her. She was using him as a means to escape, and also held a grudge after he destroyed her music box. Six has serious sadistic tendencies thru the entire series, and she also has a "kill or be killed" outlook IMO. It wouldn't surprise me if Six just decided to let him drop, if she thought it benefited her.
Morrigan yeah that theory of yours isn’t true. It’s because she seen him as the thin man. Secondly you have major trust issues from reading your assumption lol. Which was wayyy off lol.
The leading Theory at the moment is that Six dropped Mono because she seen him as a threat. She saw his power and what he could do so she "killed him." The Thin man tries to stop the cycle but everytime Mono ends up saving Six and it just keeps repeating. I'm hoping for a 3rd Little Nightmares.
Mono was actually trying to save his younger self and take away six And if Mono is the thin man Six is The Lady Why cause her music box is the same song she was humming in the first one
The thin man was trying to save mono, that’s why the thin man took six so she can’t betray him. And now it didn’t work, It’s going into a time loop that it’s keep repeating and repeating
@@DarkVWolf Actually I think you're right and I was just thinking that. If I'm correct this game is just a prequel and after this Six ends up on the boat. Unless Mono found a way to go back in time or Six meets the young Mono again somehow (which would imply a time loop independent of Six and Mono) I don't see how this would loop. More like a 1 time chance to travel back into the past kinda deal.
Lemme just say that NO this is not a prequel the developer Said that strictly and second is that time loops do not work like that. If thin man was the reason six drops mono then it dosent work. Thin man can only exist if six drops mono if thin man dosent come then six has no reason to drop mono and no reason for a time loop to begin. Hell if six did drop mono and thin man would come to SAVE mono or stop six mono and six would have diffrent reactions then they hade the first time they went through Pale city. And last point Im gonna make to not make this comment long as hell is that mono wouldnt have seen thin man in that room in the first place if, again six never hade to drop mono thanks to thin man never existing
if you dont understand why, let me explain. mono destroyed the music box that made six feel safe, so six felt betrayed so betrayed that daz became the tall guy. this is because life is the little nightmares is a loop
It was older mono tryna save younger mono from six..six is the lady from the end of little nightmares 1 because it’s the same tune as the music from here..well there’s too many theories 1. This could be a prequel 2. Six is the bad one 3. Mono is the bad one 4. Mono is the tall guy 5. Six is the lady and obv many more..
@@matthewollerenshaw6132 This is confirmed to be a prequel my guy. go on UA-cam and find the secret ending, it teases that six is headed to the maw next, which is where the first game takes place. Also, I'm pretty sure old mono just wanted to torture six for betraying him, and make sure Mono didn't come to save her. So when she betrays him, it's probably as revenge for mono torturing her and turning her into that monster. Basically, both six and Mono are both the bad one, and the good one, it's a paradox.
This makes so much sense mono was trying to stop himself from getting betrayed and stop the never ending cycle that daz just played so that storry goes on and in until older mono stop him
There is a theory, that Six is tortured by future Mono, because the place that Mono enter to save Six is distorted time and space, so Six has suffered in there longer than we ever thought. Six recognized Mono's as Thin man. So her letting go of Mono is basically a revenge for torturing her, thus happens the never ending cycle of revenge
these two games are soooo clever. When i think back on it, i realise: the school, the hospital, these are things that A LOT of small children, like Mono and Six, would fear. This game is in fact, an actual nightmare for those smol lil beans
You're right, and if old mono had never captured six, that would have stopped it from repeating too. It would have also stopped if mono just left six in the tower, or if they never met to begin with. paradox's are real tricky
That's what I thought! Even if she did recognize him as the tall man, she could've broken the endless loop by pulling him back up. Otherwise they're just stuck in this loop doing it over and over for all eternity
Honestly if the thin man just killed six then the cycle would have been over already and mono wouldn't be trapped or if his older self just showed him memories of the time paradox that was happening Don't know why he didn't do that
So “little nightmares 2” happens before the original “little nightmares” but before “little nightmares 2”, the game “very little nightmares” occurs. We see how six is introduced in “very little nightmares” and at the end how she takes a raft to the pale city before being captured by the hunter. The reason the yellow jacket was collected later on was she never collected in “very little nightmares” so it would have also floated to the city. Someone would have picked it up but later on got captured by the thin man so that’s why we see it outside the school. If we look back to when mono found six the room she was in had some illustrations, it had the original owner of the yellow rain coat dying then tally marks to indicated a time gap, then we see a black space what is the present, then the runaway boy get turned into a gnome and swallowed alive and then finally her consumption of the lady. On the wall with the window a drawing of the signal tower is there, it’s on a different wall/plane and I predict its because the tv transmissions can travel during anytime so the signal tower can be used at any time as past, present, future. That’s probably why when six gets turned into a monster we see items like the music box that’s from her present and the suit case from the future and dolls from her past. So maybe mono can travel to any time period because he becomes thin man again because everything is going in a loop, that’s why the thin man wants to be released from the TV set and the lady ,who might be the future six, tried to stop six so the loop ends. If Mono always becomes thin man and travels back in time to warn his past self then six would appearing again and again, for instance in this particular game we call the girl six but when mono travels back in time again the girl won’t be six but rather seven? Because it will be his seventh attempt to fix everything. I’m not attached to that prediction because her name could just be six but it’s something. It’s just a prediction of the timeline of “little nightmares” so please don’t come at me.
This is a phenomenal prediction, and I loved every part of it. All of it makes sense and I'd love to see another game that explains the first 2 just how you did. Your brain is magic my guy
the secret ending gives some information about how six got her "curse" of being hungry all through little nightmares 1 and it shows why she went to the maw
Six can't be the lady. The thin man was a glitch and young mono was a physical person, therfore they existed at the same time. In little nightmares 1, Six and the lady are both physical beings, meaning they can't be the same person. There are otehr reasons it can't be possible but this is one of them.
@@lucaspattenden3575 In the first Little Nightmares, we never saw Six’s face. And the Lady smashed every mirror except for one. And the Lady sings the same tune from Six’s music box, meaning there’s a possible chance Six IS the Lady
@@lovelycloudyskies I agree with the music part, but not seeing Six's face doesn't really mean too much and young monos face looks nothing like the thin man so that doesn't mean anything. Also just to clarify, what exactly does the lady smashing all but one mirror prove? (Not shooting down the idea just curious about the theories everyone has and all that, I love it!)
y’all there is a secret ending.... It shows in the secret ending that Six comes out of the TV and her stomach starts making a sound signalizing she is hungry. I believe that since her hunger is basically unstoppable and somewhat dangerous she just wanted to save Mono from getting eaten by her but anyway the ending was so shocking for me though 😓 I screamed when she dropped him.
I think all that was, was showing she was about to end up at the ship, where thats a running theme through out. If you look closely at the paper she looks to thats on the floor, it contains a photo of the ship on it, so she some how ends up there after all this.
That plot twist at the end shocked me. Mans stays stuck in that cycle of defeating himself as a grown “man” because six continues on in the first little nightmares. Brooo I loved this sm
Yes, she is the reason he becomes consumed by the broadcast, and he is doomed to force himself back in time to try and defeat his younger self and stop Six, but he will never be as strong as his young self, and so he shall forever fail.
yes... but also no. it's complicated. When the thin man captures six in the game, he does seem to torture her and turn her into that massive monster six. I'm pretty sure she realised that the thin man was mono somehow and decided to take revenge by leaving him to die. So really Mono is the reason he becomes the thin man, and six is the reason she becomes that monster. It's a self fulfilling prophecy, a paradox.
Me: it’s the end of the game and I’m actually traumatized and crying Ad comes along: Get two tacos at Taco Bell for... Me: WTF IM HAVING A MOMENT CAN YOU NOT😭😟
@@loncarmila thanks! I’ll look in to it and see if I watched it already. Lord knows I’ve been following him long enough, so I might have. But thank you!
I like the detail that when you find Six in this part of the game you enter a room on the left and Six is alone in that room playing with a music box and you have to call to her to get her to come forward, which is parallel to how you first meet Six.
I think the most logical reason for Six dropping Mono was because since meeting him, she's been exposed to all sorts of horrific creatures, she probably dropped him so she wouldn't have to keep seeing bad things. Mono only meant to help Six from the very beginning but she was reluctant, and always seemed distant to Mono - this only increased as the game progressed. Six didn't want help from Mono and once transformed into a monster, she felt safe after with the music box after all the things she witnessed - and Mono destroyed it trying to get her back. We know that Six at this point didn't reallu want Mono back as she tried attacking him and ceasing up to the sound of his voice. Mono was almost stopped by the tall man - which would have prevented him from his ultimate fate of betrayal by Six. Bottomline - sometimes not everyone can be helped (Six), no matter how hard you try (Mono)
@@subtlerooster9265 The thing is you can't trust everyone , even though they say and do stuff to help you but sometimes they get your trust them make you feel worth less.
Hey daz, Im know im late but im here to do some explaining, Basically the little nightmares world is a loop and the music you destroyed with the axe was the toy six was playing with when you meet her, You take her away from the toy and that toy made her feel safe therefore six eventually turns into a nightmare after you (mono) takes her away from the toy and sits under a bed and watches six get abducted she feels betrayed so betrays you therefore you become the tall man and the loop starts again (please like so daz can see) Oh also tarsier studios did say they are finishing the series there but bandai namico can take the series further
Its a time loop. Ive heard that the girl was called Six because that was Mono's sixth attempt to stop the loop in that timeline. Ive also heard speculation that The Lady is Six's older version because The Lady was humming the music from the music box in Little Nightmares. This would also make sense as both the older Mono and The Lady set traps for Six to stop her, which could be to end the loop.
Alr here's the main theory in speculation: Mono and Six are both trapped in a loop, where Mono eventually becomes the thin man while Six becomes the geisha seen in the Maw in the first Little Nightmares. This would explain many other things but mainly helps to explain why the thin man and the geisha were trying to attack Mono and Six the entire time.... To stop the loop The thin man kidnapped Six in hopes to stop the conversion of the younger version of himself(Mono) from ever becoming the thin man he was right then. When he realized that Mono was trying to get back Six, he began to try to catch him so that he never completes his destiny. When the thin man is finally confronted with Mono, he tries to take him down, however, he finds that his will to stop the forthcoming destiny was weaker than Mono's will to find and save Six, and therefore he lost the fight died in the process. On the other hand, Six (as seen in the first Little Nightmares) transformed into the geisha through the storyline of the first little nightmares and the insatiable hunger that she had throughout the entire game was DUE to the glitchy figure she got in little nightmares 2. Once she became the geisha figure years later, she too realized that this was all an elaborate loop and therefore tries to stop the forthcoming destiny from reoccurring. You can see efforts of this as she cages up many children in order to capture the younger version of herself(AKA Six) from ever destroying her and therefore stopping the loop. She also destroys any mirrors in the entire place as they are the only weapon strong enough to defeat her. Essentially both the geisha and the thin man were portrayed as villains but are speculated to be actually the older versions of the two protagonists. Both the thin man and the geisha, later on, become aware of this loop and try to stop it from ever happening again. The speculated reason why Six dropped Mono: Throughout the series we witnessed a healthy relationship grow as Six and Mono began to trust each other more and more. This trust reaches a height at when Six pulls out Mono from the television as she truly cares for him, however, this takes a sharp and drastic turn only moments later Six is found and caught by the thin man as the thin man tries to prevent destiny. When she gets caught, she reaches for Mono for help, however, when Mono doesn't;t end up helping her, she feels bitter. When she turns into the giant and dismantled figure, she is still the same Six, just hurt and still willing to be friends with Mono, however, Mono knows that the only way to truly save Six and is to destroy her most prized possession, the music player. At the beginning of the series we saw Six in a room alone with many tally marks signifying days, weeks, or maybe even months of solitary confinement. The music player was the only thing that kept Six happy and sane during these hard times so we can easily see just how important it is to her. Back to the story, Six, still trying to retain her friendship, offers the music player to Mono in hope that they can remain friends(27:53) , however, when Mono attempts to destroy it, she is enraged and even attempts to kill him. When Mono finally does destroy the music player Six is back, but furious and vengeful. When she has the opportunity, she betrays Mono been though he had done the right thing, but maybe she didn't want the right thing, she just wanted to be content with the music box, even if it meant a terrible consequence. She only catches Mono to make him realize that Six had willingly betrayed him. She waits for when Mono looks up at her and finally releases her grip. In the extra credit clip(if you wanna see just search up the alternate ending), we see her faced with her glitched version and a picture of the maw on the floor. She eventually travels to the maw to face her older version who had already experienced all this and had even modeled the maw after her broken music player at 33:25, continuing the cycle on and on.
The ending of this game is amazing, I’m sorry but this is so much better than little nightmares 1. Knocks that game out of the park!!! Thanks for the likes everyone. Really appreciate it. Also remember #Daz6ml Theory: This is a prequel (obviously confirmed by secret ending) Mono went to the hunters house in the woods because he saw Six get kidnapped. They went into the pale city and encountered several monsters and Six found a yellow raincoat (shows how she gets it). Mono went into the tv and to the hallway and set the thin man free from his prison within the signal tower. The thin man kidnaps Six and turns her into a monster. The thin man does this to show his younger self (Mono) that she is a monster on the inside and it was an attempt to save himself from turning into the thin man (revenge I guess). Six also betrays Mono but the reason why she tried to catch him is because she wanted his power. As shown in the first game Six can steal other people’s powers (such as the lady’s) and she did this with Mono so she could leave the signal tower and go through the portal which leads her to the Maw (the place from the first game). Mono somehow sends her glitchy spirit to haunt her during the first game. If you go back and play the first game, every time Six eats anything you can spot a glitchy dark version of Six watching over her. Or maybe Six’s new powers (Mono’s) took part of her soul away from her which started the hunger within her, it also represents her evil side as she killed the nome in the first game instead of eating the sausage the nome offered.
There is another ending, the “true ending” to get it you have to consume all the hidden souls around the game.. You get an explanation of six and her backstory
not really an explanation. you get a little hint that she's headed for the maw which is the location in the first game, and you hear her stomach beginning to grumble. all it really does is confirm this is a prequel, and it's where the hunger starts.
Mono was born with hatred and confusion and when he got betrayed he went crazy sought out revenge glitched it so whenever mono came near a tv he could have a friend a again and prevent a lifetime of suffering and loneliness his name mono stands for being alone or loneliness he was left alone his whole life
Theory: When young Mono and Old Mono were having that awesome battle it wasn't a battle at all. It was both of them trying to reach out to each other but due to the laws of physics when they connected it ended up tearing their realities apart, which means that out of all of the 14,000,605 outcomes that could of happened this universe chose the one where Six drops Mono but it another parallel universe something else happens. Meaning in another universe Six doesn't drop Mono. The other endings. By this I mean if Daz did something different it could lead to a new ending. Or one where Six doesn't drop Mono. Sorry, I really like quantum theory and I thought that was cool.
I love that I’ve seen someone else who has dabbled in quantum theory. There is a secret ending where something different does happen. What you do differently, I’m not sure. But our theory is pretty much spot on.
The tall man, is Mono. The tall man was attempting to stop that universes mono so he didn’t end up like him and crave as much vengeance as he does. Though, he failed.
Um so she betrayed him BC she realised who he really was or who he was to become therefore she got scared and tried to end the nightmare before it happened, without knowing she created it, because of this mono became a nightmare BC he was so hurt by Six's actions and six was also increasingly hurt by her own actions but we don't see what happens to her xx
Well we kinda know what happens to her. in an extra cutscene a shadow of her looks to a poster of the maw. Therefore, the chronological order is little nightmares 2, then 1 (after betrayal she goes to the maw/boat in the first game). After the first game I think she's about to get rescued by another boat? Not sure though it's not confirmed.
Tbh I genuinely thought she cared for mono and it felt like she was enjoying being around him, even saved him a bunch of times, so I think what really made her snap was the fact he kept bursting in through that door and breaking her music box. The only thing that made her calm down, so in a way he took that away from her. I've seen people explaining it and basically when mono first sees six she isnt scared but instead brings the music box to him, like she's showing it to him but he believes that she's giving it to him to break it and free her. But ofc she gets mad at him while trying to smash him (lol), then scared of his voice and protecting her only treasure. So in her head he was the nightmare breaking in her good dream, no wonder she felt enraged and betrayed after this journey together. And tbh if mono hadn't broke in that door she wouldn't have been through all this situations that made her anxious. Either way i think it was a bad misunderstanding and since they were both children they didn't knew any better. But of course it could've been that she saw his face or realised while she was in there his fate but its not doing it for me because they look nothing alike.
I've been watching the storyline and apparently the long man is mono and is trying to break a loop from mono being trapped in the tower, she held you for the power but she gets hungry, then leading on to the original game. The hunger is the void she has left, she couldn't hold mono's power
ooh this hurt me to read.. and its sad, because six dropped mono since that was the first time she saw mono without the mask she saw that he look like the tall man so she dropped mono thinking she saved the world but she just made the loop longer
Damn...maybe Six betrayed him because she found out who he was going to be while she was in the tv world or because when she got changed and Mono saved her, some of that other self was left over and caused her to let him go. Either way it was such a sad ending for Mono.
@@Ekaitzaa Yesss she iss!!! some say that this "Little nightmares 2" is actually a prequel to the first game, not a sequel. Which explains why six found her little yellow coat in this game and put it on instead of already having it on like she did in the first one
@Nefeli Sarantos @Raven Makes sense! It's been a LONG while since I've seen the first game so I don't remember The Lady much. But I've seen comments about Six being her like you figure she is (or will be). Only read those comments after I posted mine tho lol. But those observations seem more solid than my initial guess.
For anyone who was confused about what happened with Mono and Six, this is what I think happened. After Six dropped Mono into that belly thing Mono waited and waited for someone to come back for him. He waited for so long that he got older and older. Young Mono goes in that same corridor when he’s young but doesn’t open the door. Old Mono stays in the corridor to get his revenge on Six.....even though Mono saved Six at the start, Six betrayed him.........and it’s a never ending loop.... Thank you so much to everyone that liked :) 💚
yep thats true but six dropped him bc in the last game she learnt to protect herself bc everyone she trusted and helped her ended up tricking her so she decided to do that
There’s this theory that The thin man was monos older self trying to get him not to help six so he doesn’t turn out what he is, a man who wants vengeance. It says that’s why the thin man is only a glitch when chasing them, and why he took six and not Mono
To be honest, it's a paradox, in every universe and in every timeline, Mono will always be the thin man, and will try to get vengeance by turning her in to that monstsr
@@chasitystewart2 Mono over here like “So I kinda sorta had to destroy the music box u were obsessed about, but at least you ain’t a monster any more.”
It made me sad. I too was shocked when I watched this, but I can’t imagine how Daz must’ve felt. There’s a connection you develop to characters when watching play throughs. However, I feel like since Daz actually played the game, the connection was stronger. That must’ve been so sad for him. 😢
Six was actually trying to save Mono from herself at the end, that's why she dropped him. In the Little Nightmares she ended up killing the Lady and would probably end up doing the same to him. And if you get the secret ending she meets her shadow self which usually appears when she's hungry. But it's just a theory.
I think your right people are saying it's a prequel not a sequel but I think it's a sequel. I'll explain six kills the lady aka future her (theory) and escapes the mah she somehow lost her coat and finds it again in the city she drops mono and this is just my theory because she held a grudge against him six loved her music box right and when mono broke her music box at the end of the game she remembers that she hates mono for destroying her music box which was a source of comfort for her when she was scared as revenge she drops mono into the abis nit not realized what shes done . In he secret ending she gets hungry after leaving the TV I think when shadow six looked at the mah poster if was telling her to go back and take her place as the lady to repeat the loop she created
i think at some point the hangman from the first game is in fact Mono himself. the door with the eye, letter, chair. somehow it does make sense but why Six didn't grow up? maybe it's because she was in a giant state for too long when Mono tried to safe her and now she's stuck in child's body, hungry forever. just leaving here some thoughts
I love this game, but I've never felt more betrayed in my life - if they decide to make another installment, it HAS to be a future mono vs future six showdown... they can't just end the story there :(
oh yeah, my theory is that six finds and kills the lady, just to get her power, so she can go back to mono and finish him off for good, and he's just chilling in the tower, waiting for her. If I'm right, it's going to be AWESOME!!!
@@snazzstudios9252 i agree but i think instead six is going to realise what she did then get the ladies power to try break the loop . How she does it no clue
@@monkehman979 mah. These games are too brutal for that. And shes changed too much from the little girl who was monos friend. I reckon her time as that monster messed her up real bad.
@@monkehman979 well by the looks of it the signal tower seems to transcend time, meaning the thin man can exist outside of the time loop. If you remember the secret ending of the first game when he appeared on a tv in the maw, for that to be possible he would have to exist outside of the time loop, meaning the tower probably transcends time. Basically whatvim saying is she cant really break the time loop itself. I reckon shes going to end up killing the thin man for revenge and then destroying the tower, to finalise that revenge, since the tower seems to be the cause of everything, and could potentially be the source of moon's power. I reckon destroying the tower would probably stop that time loop and maybe even be the thing that kills the thin man. It's all dependent on lore we dont really have yet tbh.
Theory: Six is the lady from the first game- hear me out. Some time after betraying Mono, she figures out that Mono became the Thin Man because of her, and becomes the Lady to try to defeat herself. She wants prevent Six from making Mono turn ‘bad’, similarly to how the Thin Man wanted to catch Mono to protect him from being betrayed thus ending the time loop. She, as the Lady, tries to end the loop via an act of self sacrifice because of her regret and guilt of dropping him and sacrificing him instead. The reason why the Lady would stare at herself in the mirror and get upset in the first game is because she finally sees her face clearly and either hates herself, or she recognizes her face from when she was a giant monster, and is filled with anger and hatred towards herself and her hypocrisy in her reason behind killing Mono as Six, because she also was a monster. If I remember correctly, the Lady was also the head of the Maw, right? I think the Lady tried to help the monsters in the Maw, thinking they were also once normal children, like the Thin Man, (and her, in giant mode), so she feeds them and watches over them to save them or try to convert them back. (It’s also possible that the residents of the Maw in the first game are either children or the different betrayed Monos from different time loops, and she tries to save him after turning, but it fails, but that’s a stretch.) She is filled with a hunger, and in the first game, eats the smaller gnome-looking children to satiate her hunger, and it becomes her nature to eat them because it is all she can find. She then, trying to help the people of the Maw, would feed them the same, now as the Lady, which is why they would eat children. And the reason why everyone is so gluttonous in the first game is because it reflects her selfishness when dropping Mono. She, by that act, is the cause for the suffering of countless other children in the first game, and the irony is that she does so in feeling regret for ending the life of one child, Mono, and trying to reverse it. She has no good ending, there will always be blood on her hands. This is where the end of the first game begins this theory. The darkness takes over in the end of the first game because she realizes what she has done, thus turning her into the Lady, and restarting HER time loop, where everything repeats. So yeah...the whole first game is her trying to stop herself, but always being too late.
Bonus theory: the Tall Man is the one mesmerizing the people with the TVs (because of his TV powers). He’s trying to save them from going to the Maw and encountering the Lady (previously Six), so that there aren’t more mouths to feed, thus saving more children from being eaten.
SHIIIIIIIIIIT DUDE HOW DID YOU FIGURE THAT OUT... *AND HOW DOES THAT MAKE PERFECT SENSE!?* Damn!
Yes the whole thing is a continual time loop, mono tries to save himself from the inevitable consequences

or maybe she dropped him to get revenge. We can't really say for sure what the thin man does to Six after capturing her. he probably tortured her, and being that monster looked like a painful existence. My guess is she figured out Mono and the thin man were the same person, and left him to die as revenge.

Six: So I proceeded to loosen my grip form his hand
Did anyone else realize that the music box to “save” six took 6 hits to break
This game is too much 😂
The music box was the music box from the very first bit of the game where mono meets six and he's playing that exact music box in the cell then mono breaks down the door with the axe similar to the way he does to get back to six and destroy the music box "their last core memory if you will" and that's why their is so many random items in the main tower because everyone's core memory that have been twisted it turns them into a giant monster like what happened to six :)
Also, it's kind of shaped like The Maw when it's one hit left to be destroyed
it also takes 6 hits to hurt The Lady in the first game
See..I thought it was because six knew she was getting hungry (the secret ending) and she didn’t want to eat her friend..
Morrigan yeah that theory of yours isn’t true. It’s because she seen him as the thin man. Secondly you have major trust issues from reading your assumption lol. Which was wayyy off lol.
The leading Theory at the moment is that Six dropped Mono because she seen him as a threat. She saw his power and what he could do so she "killed him."
The Thin man tries to stop the cycle but everytime Mono ends up saving Six and it just keeps repeating.
I'm hoping for a 3rd Little Nightmares.
Mono was actually trying to save his younger self and take away six And if Mono is the thin man Six is The Lady Why cause her music box is the same song she was humming in the first one
Gosh now that makes so much sense
So six was bad the whole way through ? I’m kind of confused lol
Omg! So then the reason she hates looking at herself in the mirror is because she feels ashamed or guilty? That makes so much sense!
Omg I didn’t even remember the old lady but you’re right
🧐🤨😐🙁☹️😟🤯
The thin man was trying to save mono, that’s why the thin man took six so she can’t betray him. And now it didn’t work, It’s going into a time loop that it’s keep repeating and repeating
Yeah the thin man is older mono and he is trying to save younger mono so the cycle ends
@@coleclawson254 damn, i didn’t see that coming
Well no, it’s not really a cycle or repeat. It looks like that to us, but we don’t actually know what happens next.

But mono took her safe place from her
So she got revenge

Six can't be the lady. The thin man was a glitch and young mono was a physical person, therfore they existed at the same time. In little nightmares 1, Six and the lady are both physical beings, meaning they can't be the same person. There are otehr reasons it can't be possible but this is one of them.

Alr here's the main theory in speculation:
Mono and Six are both trapped in a loop, where Mono eventually becomes the thin man while Six becomes the geisha seen in the Maw in the first Little Nightmares. This would explain many other things but mainly helps to explain why the thin man and the geisha were trying to attack Mono and Six the entire time.... To stop the loop
The thin man kidnapped Six in hopes to stop the conversion of the younger version of himself(Mono) from ever becoming the thin man he was right then.
The speculated reason why Six dropped Mono:
Throughout the series we witnessed a healthy relationship grow as Six and Mono began to trust each other more and more. This trust reaches a height at when Six pulls out Mono from the television as she truly cares for him, however, this takes a sharp and drastic turn only moments later
Six is found and caught by the thin man as the thin man tries to prevent destiny.

Thanks for the likes everyone. Really appreciate it. Also remember #Daz6ml
Theory: This is a prequel (obviously confirmed by secret ending)
Mono went to the hunters house in the woods because he saw Six get kidnapped.

Thank you i was kinda confused
I noticed that at one point daz says “six never drops me”.....
He did its so sad😭😭
ooh this hurt me to read.. and its sad, because six dropped mono since that was the first time she saw mono without the mask she saw that he look like the tall man so she dropped mono thinking she saved the world but she just made the loop longer
Damn...maybe Six betrayed him because she found out who he was going to be while she was in the tv world or because when she got changed and Mono saved her, some of that other self was left over and caused her to let him go. Either way it was such a sad ending for Mono.
Or she was just like : f0(k you b!t(h I’m on my own now
😂🤣
Im pretty sure six is the lady from the first game
@@Ekaitzaa Yesss she iss!!! some say that this "Little nightmares 2" is actually a prequel to the first game, not a sequel. Which explains why six found her little yellow coat in this game and put it on instead of already having it on like she did in the first one
@@raven4114 💯💯

There’s this theory that The thin man was monos older self trying to get him not to help six so he doesn’t turn out what he is, a man who wants vengeance. It says that’s why the thin man is only a glitch when chasing them, and why he took six and not Mono
To be honest, it's a paradox, in every universe and in every timeline, Mono will always be the thin man, and will try to get vengeance by turning her in to that monstsr

The total shock/outrage on Daz’s face when she drops him is hilarious
It made me sad. I too was shocked when I watched this, but I can’t imagine how Daz must’ve felt. There’s a connection you develop to characters when watching play throughs. However, I feel like since Daz actually played the game, the connection was stronger. That must’ve been so sad for him. 😢
Six was actually trying to save Mono from herself at the end, that's why she dropped him. In the Little Nightmares she ended up killing the Lady and would probably end up doing the same to him. And if you get the secret ending she meets her shadow self which usually appears when she's hungry. But it's just a theory.
@FrostGuardPlayz DAMNIT U BEAT ME TO IT 🤣
THANKS FOR WATCHING
@FrostGuardPlayz damn it I was gonna say that
@FrostGuardPlayz Too bad that Matpat said that it has bad game design and dropped the game like six dropped mono.
i think at some point the hangman from the first game is in fact Mono himself. the door with the eye, letter, chair. somehow it does make sense but why Six didn't grow up? maybe it's because she was in a giant state for too long when Mono tried to safe her and now she's stuck in child's body, hungry forever. just leaving here some thoughts
Nah. He is not the hanging man.

Bro, I wasn’t even playing the game, and I was so invested in the plot. ✨The ultimate betrayal✨
am i the only one who got total goosebumps at the end??
@@snazzstudios9252 yea your right but i don’t want it to end knowing there still in a time loop . I don’t want a happy ending just a better one
It's all dependent on lore we dont really have yet tbh.
his face at the end when six dropped him was fucking hillarious
After all the jokes about six being a metal head, it boils down to this.

That is so smart wow
