Going from a car where the body panels *can't* rust to a car where they are all rust is one hell of a flex.

You really are transforming it! every episode is an improvement! As for Quarter Panel vs. Wing... it's weird, because we often say rear quarter instead of rear wing. Words are strange. Unlike lubricating the nut and wrenching it, which is always the right way to say it. There's something really satisfying about seeing the flakes of rust and the rusty smoke float away when it breaks loose... as long as it isn't going in your face of course. So much of this episode reminded me of when my friend and I try to do things on the Capris. It's lovely seeing you do car stuff solo and with friends. Absolutely love sharing in all these moments and your humour and enthusiasm no matter what comes challenges come along.
Yeah man! I spend far too much time thinking about the video and actually working on the car to even start thinking about what I'm saying, I should change my priorities a little bit maybe!

I can recall gadding about in a Supra as a passenger in the late '90's, with my friend giving way and flipping his lights just so we could watch them go up and down... There is something about flippy headlights. The level of rust is acceptable, but then I have been conditioned to accept rotten panels and floors with my grandfather's Ford Escort Mk1 estates - they were rusty when they were just over ten years old. There does not seem to be that much previous bad repair work, a good thing as that has killed a couple of Beetles I have had, as it can cause far more problems, a lot more rot and doubled any repair bill.

Looks about the same as my Scimitar underneath which also sat for 14yrs. Got her turning over yesterday so gonna try and fire her up in the next few days :)
