Have been wearing this perfume as my everyday for a few months now. Never stop getting compliments with this! I've found layering this on top of the Kayali Elixir helps maintain some of the depth you smell when you originally spray it.
I blind bought this perfume too after seeing positive reviews (not something I usually do but there were no testers available). I also recently purchased Victoria Secrets Bare Vanilla body mist and it smells very similar to Kayali Vanilla; I'd say it's a good cheaper alternative to KV for anyone that is interested in that type of scent but not necessarily willing to spend the money. I'm also tempted by Deja Vu, as I've heard good things!
I own Bare Vanilla Untamed and its very close. The Kayali is a little nicer but it doesn't last lol. The VS Bare Vanilla at least I don't feel bad reapplying it.
@@paulab838 Haha, I thought this too at first but now, having had the Kayali for around 9 months, I find it to be a lot more potent and longer-lasting than it was when I first purchased it. Even the actual perfume is much darker in colour than it was when newly purchased! 😀
@@jj9501 Sorry for the late reply. I found that the VS lasted around 4 hours on my skin but it is only a mist so I wouldn't set expectations too high. I have to be honest, there was something in the VS that bothered me so I ended up getting rid of it, which I don't like to do. Unfortunately, this has happened with all 3 VS body mists that I've owned (the other two being Aqua Kiss and Warm + Cozy). I don't know if I just keep getting bad batches or something in the products just doesn't agree with my nose 😄 I sprayed Warm + Cozy at work once and one of my colleagues actually commented that it wasn't a nice smell (which is NOT what I want people to think when I spray something haha).
I just blind bought Kayali Vanilla 28 because we don't have Sephora stores in my country. If it's anything like Bare Vanilla I think I'd love it, VS Bare Vanilla is one of my favorite basic cheapies but I'm looking for something more elevated. Do you still like Vanilla 28?
Love it, love it, love it, love it 💕💕💕💕! I'm about to purchase my second bottle but here's what I learned about the scent, the longer the perfume matures ( gets darker) the richer and longer it lasts on skin also the brown sugar note gets more pronounced. Did you notice that?
I felt the same way. For me the initial notes dissipate, i don't smell the brown sugar either and only get a very faint vanilla scent. Actually as it darkened, it performed even more poorly. On my skin it lasted not more than 1 hr. When i first spay it I only smell alcohol. It was performing much better when it was fresh and light.
I blind bought this one, and I think you nailed it. I do love it and it layers well with a few of my clean girl fragrances and gives them some depth. ❤
gosh i wish it was a little cheaper. I tested this and I want it so badly, but I do think it's a bit overprized. 50 euro for 50ml or so would have been more reasonable imo
This was a great detailed honest review. I haven’t found a Kay Ali fragrance that I particularly like but when I tested it I knew automatically that some of the scents wouldn’t be able to stand alone or project for hours.
I really like this fragrance and I think it lasts a long time. I layered it with chocolate greedy and with Angels Share by Kilian. I never stop getting people asking what I’m wearing. It’s built for layering.
@@LizzieOlamontel Paris. It's one of my favorite scent to layer with. I am a gourmand girl. But I love complexity. I would not bother with their vanilla sense. Way too synthetic. With the vanilla oil from Madagascar it helps it last longer. Add these many of your favorite vanilla perfumes.
Is there more than one kayali 28 because your bottle the perfume looks like a Dark brown color but when i look it up the one coming up looks like a very light brown liquid. The sephora one is lighter.
I'm about to pick up my 50ml bottle tomorrow, and I am actually really happy that the projection is weak as I actually really dislike being able to smell someone's perfume from a few meters away. I do prefer a more intimate projection so I'm really excited now~!

Maybe you can buy from depop or some other app like that. A lot of people sell perfumes that they bought but didnt like for cheaper prices

When you get it , it is a light brown and then the juice becomes a dark purple over time. I found i loved it more after it turned
