A FORMER professional wrestler lives with a giant alligator inside her house - and she even shares a bed with him. The 6 foot 6 inch, 200lbs reptile named Rambo not only has his own room in the house, he also watches TV on the sofa and eats dinner at the kitchen table. Mary Thorn, 57, adopted her beloved pet Rambo 13 years ago, rescuing him from imminent death. Now the 17-year-old gator freely walks inside the house, bosses the dogs around and loves to be the centre of attention. Rambo, who Mary often dresses up in leather jackets and sunglasses, is potty trained, he obeys 70 commands and poses “no threat to humans”. Mary, who resides in Lakeland, Florida, considers Rambo as a significant part of her family and says she has a special bond with the gator - who responds to her sign language.

That gator is not happy it has a way to small cage and all that they handle it is very stressful as well as the hose with is why it is attacking it. But it is a lot better than before

i have never seen such a docile and friendly crocodilian in my life. even ones kept in captivity are usually snappy. he's very comparable to a bearded dragon, chill and tolerant.

That's not how the world works. If you give the gator food, it might not try to eat you. But if it tries to eat you, perhaps giving it food is not the first response.

When I read the prayer card on the wall I instantly started crying. The same prayer card we had for my dad who passed at the age of 38 in 2013.

I can’t help but love this woman, her dedication to her lost loved ones and how she loves her animals. She may be a bit crazy keeping gators but she keeps gators who have been hurt or abused and tries to give them a good life. You can tell she loves them.

How is loving and kissing a dog any different? Yes he's an alligator, but that doesn't mean he's a monster. Alligators are not as dangerous/aggressive as people believe they are. Alligator attacks are rare, and because he understands that she is his caregiver, he is very unlikely to attack. Not all alligators are man eating monsters out for blood.
