Tip #11 - Lean into the art of imperfect filmmaking. Weddings aren't perfect, Life isn't Perfect, it's quite Imperfect. Lean capturing the essence of real life through the imperfections to unearth a genuine and pure reflection of the couples wedding day.

The audio is great but what if you only have two wireless mics like the rode go 2 and the bride won't want a mic on her dress?

In this case, you use what you have. Ive filmed several weddings wher the Bride wasnt mic'd and still managed to turn out a great film from it. As long as the groom is Mic'd during the ceremony and even during Portraits you can capture some really gold moments.

Hello! I currently own a Lumix G7. I've had this camera for many years now. I'll have my Lumix g7 as my backup camera.
I'm looking to upgrade to a new camera (will be my main). Mainly for cinematography, short films Music videos etc. I also want that crisp photography as I love to do photoshoots and street photography. i would LOVE to take part in weddings. I love to create as an aspiring filmmaker, and I really don't know what to do when choosing the correct gear. I have been watching UA-cam videos for a week and still haven't ordered anything.
Everyone speaks highly on the Sony Fx3, which I am in love with. They say the photography side is lacking very bad; but is it that bad?? I've looked into the Sony Fx30 as well but I'm wanting something a bit more powerful. which it does look very nice. I discovered the A6700 which looks nice, but I hear it has awful over-heating issues and there are much better options.
A friend of mine told me to get the Sony Alpha 7S III as it is supposed to be the best of both worlds, but I've heard it's not strong enough for weddings? That i should just go with the Fx3. sigh...
please, help. thank you for your time!
