These are really pretty! The red and gold one reminded me of fire until you mentioned a Phoenix then I saw that too (rising out of its own ashes maybe?) 😊😊😊👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Hi what a beautiful tutorial, would you be able to tell us the colours you used , in the combinations, and if it was Prism, Moon, or transparent. I love a few of them but need to know the colours. Thank you for sharing a great tut. Cheers Rosie.
Hi Rosie! Thank you :) The colors are: Moon: Gold. Vitrail: Sky blue, Crimson and Lemon. Prisme: Emerald, Eggshell white and the purple one which I don't know the name because the label erased sorry.
Thank you so much for the great tutorial! I am wondering if you can tell me where you purchased the silicone tray. I have looked online, but am not able to find anything similar. Thanks so much!
+OrangeTabbyCat , they are just called glue on jewellery bails, you can find them on Ebay, or lots of places, even if you have a bead shop near you they should have them. Hope it helps, Cheers Rosie. P.S I didn't do the tutorial I just seen your question and knew what they were called.
Enjoyed your videos your jewelry is very pretty. My question is where do you find the necklace chain that you show on the blue cabochon I really like that type of chain also where do you get your Bales and bezels. Thank you
Hi beautiful work iwant Io know can I use any mould and why did u fire d product can we use gas lighter is mould is silicon or plastic one waiting for reply thanks
Hi there! The mold is plastic but you cannot use any plastic mold for resin. They have to say they're made for resin if not your piece will stick to the mold. The lighter is for popping the bubbles in the resin.
Hi awesome video! I just wanted to ask what kind of molds you used... they didn’t look silicone and I was under the impression that resin stuck to anything but silicone... so fill me in here 😂😂
Hi! The molds are from www.little-windows.com They are made of a special shiny plastic and don't need mold release. You can use certain plastic molds not all molds will work with resin. In my opinion silicone molds are the best but these are also good.
Hi there! I have an issue with my work surfaces at home, apparently none of them are on a level! Do you have/have had this issue and what have you done about it? Would be of massive help!
I found my assortment of colors at hobby lobby and Micheal's crafts. How long did it take for your paints to dry before you domed the pieces? Mine turned out NOTHING like these at all :(
edwardsrc7 There are three different types of Pebeo paints that all produce very different effects. Is it possible you didn't use all three like she did? Complete mixing of the Moon and Prisme is critical, especially for the Prisme paints. The first time I used the Prisme paints I did not mix them well enough. I was too anxious to start playing! :) As a result, I barely got any of the honeycomb effect. I was so disappointed and thought I just wasted a ton of money. I did some investigating and suspected I didn't mix them enough. I had success on my second try. So, if you indeed were using all three paints in same manor as in the video, my best guess is that they weren't mixed well enough.
Charlene Butler These are three different types of paints by Pebeo paints: Pebeo Vitrial - thin, transparent paint (she used the blue color in a square shape), Pebeo Fantasy Prisme - opaque paint that forms honeycomb designs as it dries, and Pebeo Fantasy Moon - opaque paint that produces swirly pearlescent/metallic designs. These paints can be found at Michaels. However, I found that often the smaller Michaels stores don't carry them. They can be ordered at lots of craft stores online. Amazon carries them too. They are really fun to play with. I use them on polymer clay.
No need to bake - they harden on their own. Drill the holes with a jewellery drill, but wear a mask - you don't want to inhale any of the dust. Alternatively you can buy bails that you can glue to the back of the piece.
Sharon Rice If you live in the US or Canada, you can find the Pebeo line of paints at Michaels. Sometimes the smaller Michaels stores don't have them though. They can be ordered at lots of craft stores online. Amazon also has them.
colorfultography If you are in the US or Canada you can find it at most Michaels craft stores. You can easily find them online at lots of crafts stores and even Amazon. The sets of 12 20 ml bottles are around $25 USD. The individual bottles are $7-8, but come in 45 ml bottles.
Sarah Fields Of course the drying times of these paints depends on the same factors that influence all paint drying times...paint thickness, ambient temp., humidity, etc. I have never used the Vitrial paint, so can't say what it's drying time is for certain, but I can't imagine it would be too different than the other two. In fact, since it is a much thinner paint, I suspect it would dry quicker. I have found the Prisme and Moon paints take at least 24 hours to dry. However, even after 24 hours I would use it or wear it if it's jewelry. It's dry enough to move on the the next step, adding resin, glaze, adding more parts to your piece, etc., but it's still not dry enough that it couldn't be damaged by dropping it or gouging it with something. I would give it a minimum of 48 hours, longer is better, before using it.
That will depend whereabouts in the world you live - I just did a Google search for 'Pebeo Paints' & got 496,000 suggestions of places to try - I'd start with craft stores either near you or online ones who deliver to your part of the world. Good luck.
When working with smaller pieces, you usually remove the resins from the mould first to ensure you have full control over the extremely small quantity of anything being floated on top of the first layer, which will later fully encapsulated in resin. Without being able to see the edges, you may just pour too much which would head toward the sides of the mould instead of you floating it (working well within surface tension). This creates a dividing layer of paint which would stop the resin layers from being able to meet ; a resin 'sandwich' with the exposed layer of paint having less structural integrity than the resin on either side. Floating would ensure the paint can be fully encapsulated, ensuring the piece has overall structural integrity.
I take the pieces out of the mold so when I pour the second layer of resin it domes. If you leave the piece inside the mold and do a second coat it will have edges.
Omg!! Totally awesome:D although, you should make it clearer and faster to understand it better. I didnt understand it well for some reason...great vid tho!!^-^
Thanks for the idea of using a lighter flame rather than buying a blow torch. I only have a small project in mind and this might be useful.

Hi there! Thanks for watching :) I used little windows resin. You can get it at www.little-windows.com
Thanks for watching :) The resin is from www.little-windows.com best resin I've ever tried.

You get those on Amazon, Ali Express, Etsy..
How did you do to eliminate all bubbles? The resin looks so clear
Hi there! Nothing at all. Little windows resin barely makes bubbles when mixed very slowly
Beautiful ❤️
Are the colours too mixed in resin or simply dropping the colours ?
Just dropping the colors. Thanks for watching!
Beautiful!
Thank you!
Hi beautiful work iwant Io know can I use any mould and why did u fire d product can we use gas lighter is mould is silicon or plastic one waiting for reply thanks
Hi I asked you three weeks ago some questions but still waiting for d answer
Hi there! The mold is plastic but you cannot use any plastic mold for resin. They have to say they're made for resin if not your piece will stick to the mold. The lighter is for popping the bubbles in the resin.
How long u wait for paint to cure before doing the final resin? These are beautiful

Hi there! I have an issue with my work surfaces at home, apparently none of them are on a level! Do you have/have had this issue and what have you done about it? Would be of massive help!
Use shims under the table legs (or your work surface) until level? Not hard
I notice you were using a torch on the wet resin pieces. Is it safe to do so?
It is safe if you do it quickly, if you let the torch on the same spot for a while the resin will burn. Be careful
I found my assortment of colors at hobby lobby and Micheal's crafts. How long did it take for your paints to dry before you domed the pieces? Mine turned out NOTHING like these at all :(
+edwardsrc7 I'm sorry to hear that! I let them dry for about 24 hours and then I added the resin. Hope it helps :)

How do you prime the molds please? I've used these plastic ones with resin, and it stuck in and couldn't release. I really want to give these a go!
