Classic Doom - Cyberdemon (PC Speaker)

- I was searching for the weapon firing sounds and especially Cyberdemon's walking sound on PC Speaker which terrified me when I was a kid. I was not able to find it so I decided to make a video of it myself.
I hope you'll enjoy the nightmarish sound coming from Cyberdemon's hooves!
Note: The reason I'm playing with like 4% accuracy is that I was playing keyboard only. Since I had been playing modern fps games with keyboard & mouse for a long time, my brain did not function properly without a mouse :). - Фільми й анімація

The continal "stomping" noise is too much and is too high-pitched! 😅
I swear they didn't even try with the PC speaker sounds for this game!

I think sound blasters started to become mainstream so it was less interesting to be creative with pc speaker effects.
But believe me, that walking sound scared the hell out of me the first time I played this level 😮

I played like that and it was great because I didn't have the money for a sound card in the first computer
You couldn't hit a barn door.
It was "only keyboard" play after a long while (probably 26 years considering I played doom first around 1996), so sue me :).

why theses files exist?
Because not everyone back then had soundcards in their pc setups. In order to make the people without the soundcards at least hear "something", they put the pc speaker option for the game.
Personally I did not have a soundcard so I remember playing the whole game with these kind of pc speaker sounds. It was still very fun.

Why are you missing so much?!
Seems like I forgot how to play with only keyboard, since I had been playing modern fps games with mouse :). I wasn't able to use the mouse in this gameplay.
In the setup.exe you can enable mouse look and change the left/right keys for strafing instead.
And since there is no key to toggle run, set the run key to be the same as the moving forward key.
