I live in Southern Germany in the great state of Baden- Württemberg, in the Swabian part, in the great city of Stuttgart, the home of Mercedes-Benz, Porsche, Canstatter Wasen, VFB Stuttgart, home of the Maultaschen, and home of the only real brezel the swabian one, great castles, museums, with so many things to see and do.
9:04 You might like to know that there are vegan Maultaschen, too.
Hello you two - now it's almost time to pack your bags and visit us in Germany. AND allow yourself a decent amount of time (at least 14 days!), because there's a lot to see and even more of our specialties to try...!

@@christophkagermeier6417 Nur so, vom ethnischen Standpunkt. Die Franken in Nordbayern, sind Teil des Stammes der Franken, die vor Völkerwanderung im heutigen Rheinland (grob gesagt) zu hause waren. Die Bajuwaren, stammen ursprünglich aus dem Kaukasus- Raum und sind im Zuge der Völkerwanderung hier angekommen, vor 1500 + Jahren. Ist das für dich jetzt hinreichend erklärt? Was ist bloß aus den bayerischen Schulen geworden...

It is locally called "Wiesn" after the square it is hold on, the Theresienwiese (Therese's lawn). The Cannstatt Volksfest started out as add-on to an agricultural fair, which was part of the agricultural reforms invoked by king Wilhelm I of Württemberg after the famines 1815/16, the "year without summer" after the Tambora eruption of 1815. Despite those different origins both festivals look very similar today.
I am a big fan of your channel and I am a Swabian living in Franconia 😊 and I looove my Grandma's Kässpätzle ❤ it is a little bit like Mac n Cheese but much better. Even my American ex-boyfriend agreed with me on this
10:05 Spätzle are KIND OF vegetarian, but the standard recipe requires eggs… sorry… I *think* I have seen a vegan version in my local supermarket though…

1.) "Pfannkuchen" heißen in Wirklichkeit "Berliner"
2.) A slightly Difference in the Brezels? Are you mad? There is just one real Brezel, and that is the Swabian Brezel with bold Top and small crunchy Legs, the other one is just a Brezel-Imposter, a counterfeit or fake wannabe. It was very offending, to call that Bavarian abomination a real Brezel, maybe its good enough for a "Brezn" in a Beer-Tent where completely drunks won't taste anything at all....i´m writing this while enjoying a real Butterbrezel while watching your Videos :) (Butterbrezel is real Brezel from a good Bakery Shop where they still produce real Products and then slice the thicker upper part and spread delicious (Sauerrahm-)Butter on it, yummie)
There is only one real Brezel, and that is the Swabian Brezel
