I'm new to the area and going to try out this lake on Sunday with my sons. Fished a few times but 1st time feeing fishing. Could anyone suggest a place more likely to catch. Many thanks
Hi beginner here, what sort of gear do you use? Ie rods, reels, line etc. I noticed you's catch alot of carp with the feeder. I'm just wanting to know what sort of gear I would be looking to get incase I do hook a decent carp and my gear isn't adequate. Tia
Hello, usually it’s advised to start out float fishing but you could start on the feeder too, both are relatively easy setups. Any beginner rod/reel will do you to start but just make sure you’ve got 8/10lb line on your reel. Hope this helps 👌
Mid doubles. Back lake left corner. Little bar tight up on the corner about two foot wide. And about a foot deep method feeder banded pellets. Feed few and often hold on to the rod
Fresh Fishing Not my cup of tea down there. Get your self up to watergate up near dolton park. It’s tuff to find but hit me up on Facebook will give you some directions
@@vinnykemp4594 Aye we know Woodlands isn't for everybody but it's good for having all amenities close by and usually produces a good day fishing. Will have to have a look at Watergate, if you've got instagram or twitter then give us a follow, we can chat.
Great first video lads I fished Carrs lake once in the summer 2 years ago I saw a lot of carp but nothing big defo not worth £12 to fish it there's much better lakes up our way for less money there's a good one at Spennymoor called Shaftoes lake its run by Spennymoor angling club they allow you to fish it on a day ticket for £5 a day and there are some cracking carp in it. I done a video on there check out my channel have a look by the way I've subscribe to your channel good luck in the future with your channel.
Hey mate, thanks for the kind feedback. Will 100% give your channel a watch. And we’ll certainly be trying that lake you mention, £5 is great value!! You ever tried Moulton lane pond, that’s a good days fishing...
Inline Carping depends what you’re after also mate. It’s a match/leisure lake so it’s got a mix in there carp up to 15lb. If you’re after specimen then probably not worth it.
Brilliant video guys keep up the great work learnt a lot from yous thanks tight lines

Get your self to Hilton lakes fish the back lake some cracking runs
Hey Vinny, we have been to Hilton once before but we went on the first lake. 100% want to try the back lake. Whats the biggest carp you've had out?

@@vinnykemp4594 Will certainly give this a go! We're doing Woodlands in the next video then maybe we'll go Hilton on the one after.
