This is so pretty. I’m going to try it with Mandala Peacock... Will probably use a I-9, or a J-10 hook... Mandala yarns look great when you use the slightly larger hooks.
Just a suggestion... I wish you had used a thicker yarn...it was really hard to see what you were doing... The work was half out of the frame much of the time... You also kind if mumbled..
This is a great shawl....and a good tutorial...a couple I’d changes woukd make it a winner..
One thing I really liked, was having the directions printed right on the screen... That was a big help. I snapacreened them..Great idea.

It's very pretty, but I was confused as to where to place the doubles on the first double crochet row. Do they go in between the DC's from the 3-DC grouping from the row below? Then, where does the next double go? I'm also confused as to how the increases are made in the middle and the ends. Also, is there a written and/or charted pattern? Thanks for any help.
I don't have written pattern for this. The dc row are very basic, make 1dc in between the dc from previous row and 1 dc in chain 1 space. not too worry about the 3rd dc from previous round because I make my increase in every start, middle and end of row.
The volume seems low. It would be nicer if you held the project up closer. But it's a nice pattern

What if I have size 4 yarn ?
cribs corner no problem.. you can use size 4. You just need to size up your crochet hook maybe to 5.5mm or 6.00mm.
