A great video... I use a closed sided garbage bin with an open top, works best for us. Cloth pads work so well I don't have to get up change my pad and still leak during the heaviest days of my period. Sleeping through the night has been a game changer.
Personally I change a lot throughout the day and I love me some longer pads because it is so comfy! I mostly use 14" first day, 16" second day, then I go down to 12" and 10" on my last days. Nighttime I love 18" or 20" because that means I can flip and flop in my sleep without a worry in the world :) awesome video!
I also change super frequently! I love knowing that I’m not “wasting” the pad when I change before it’s totally full because I’m just going to reuse it!
My fav size is 12 and 14 inch I have a few 16 for nighttime. I don't necessarily need these lengths for my flow always but I prefer longer because they're comfortable make me feel securely covered and shorter ones can move on me . I have enough for a full cycle now so I can change 5 times a day 😊
I use a few different types of cloth pads. 10 inch for lite days and 12 to 14 inches for heavy days. I also got my autistic daughter to use them by using some colorful prints and her favorite Disney characters .
I store my cloth pads in an open bin with other period products in my bathroom closet. On my first order, I got a 12in for night and a couple panty wraps to wear with tampons. I just placed another order with some liners another 12in and I think a 10in. I ditto the advice of slowly building a collection!
Another amazing video! 😁 I use a basket with an open top. It works so well and has lots of room so perfect for a growing collection 😍😉 I mostly use 8” pads, while on the smaller size of the cloth pad scale they suit my flow so well, I also have a handful of 10” pads so if one month it was on the heavier side I have options 😁 I gradually built up my number of cloth pads through the space of a year, now I can verryyyyy comfortably get through a cycle or two without needing to wash which is great for me as someone who forgets 🙈🤣
You’re too kind 😊. Sizing variety is handy to have!! I too am part of the forgetful club so a large collection has saved me a few times as well 😅. Thanks for sharing!
Thanks for all your information. One question..can it be used for light incontinence. And how large are your panty liners. I am small and I am afraid that it could feel bulky.
It can be hard to tell for sure with some of the top fabrics having a stay dry feeling top. Squeeze the middle and see if you can feel any moisture. This is why I suggest storing in a place that allows airflow and not something sealed like a plastic tote with lid. That way if there is any moisture still left that you didn’t notice, it’s still able to dry.
Great video thanks 👍👍👍👍❤

I sometimes reach for the longer ones too for the exact same reason! So much cozy comfort ☺️

Perfect beginner guide 💜
Hopefully it helps some!
I've just found you today and placed my first order! I'm very excited and will see how it goes 😁
Yes!!!! My stash is anywhere from 8" to 20" in moderates and mostly heavies/extra heavy s 🥰
And my storage is a 3 drawer system and a fancy box on top but I may need a bigger box soon lol
It’s so nice being able to have a variety of sizes so there is something for every stage!!

if you clot badly do you just have to put the clots down the toilet after taking it off?
For larger clots yes I recommend removing them into the toilet. Small clots will still wash away just fine
Do i have to pre wash them when i get it?
I like 10/11 inch pads for days, I've got a couple of 12 inch ones for nights.
How do you know is 100% dry?

@@softtacoreusables yeap that is what I do, sometimes if I need to use it and still not sure I use toilet paper and squeeze it.
I just store in a basket on top of my makeup vanity
