Almost 11 minutes of onboard action with Michael Schumacher at Magny-Cours 2004 / Почти 11 минут онборд глазами Михаэля Шумахера на Гран При Франции 2004!
@@cinegraphics Uhhh sir, this is 2004, and everyone has had traction control since around 2001 since the FIA just let the teams do it. It was banned in 2008.
@@ExzcellionGamma ah, well, then all the teams had it. So it doesn't give advantage to anyone. But with DRS faster cars have a slight advantage. A faster car can easily catch up with slower cars, and then thanks to DRS overtake them easily. Once the faster car overtakes a slower car, there will be no opportunity for a revenge, since the faster car will exit from its DRS time before the next DRS zone. So, basically DRS now favors Mercedes. In order for DRS to become fair and to make the races more interesting, they should enable DRS for all cars except the leading one.
most fake dominance ever. All champonships with sketchy cars or wth Ferrar fxing the rules. This was shown the very next year of 2004. In 2005 Schumi was +1 sec per lap slower from the other teams. they used to used that strategy because bridgestone developed a high degradation tire but really good for quick stints like this, so that why in 2005-2006 they were screw... ferrari was working on this tyres and then the rules where change.
Yes, Bridgestone was a big problem for Ferrari in 2005 and 2006. Especially in 2005, it was a disaster, except US GP))) Where Bridgestone seemed to be stronger)
Something similar to what happened to Mercedes a couple of years ago. They could get pole positions almost in every GP but they literally demolished tyres in the process. They could get incredible laps but at the cost of degrading too quickly, until they had a 'secret' test with roughly 1000 km and they fixed the problem.
@@f1onboardpassion791Imola in 2005 was also a prime example of what Ferrari could have been that year if the tyres had worked properly. The hard tyre didn't work in the whole season for Ferrari but in that circuit Michael was flying with it. I guess it had a very small window of optimal performance while in all the other circuits either it never reached the perfect temperature or simply overheated.

No track simulators with photorealistic graphics to practice on each track for the entire winter. No dominant car for 7 years in a row. No DRS. No ERS.
Kids, he did this for 1 1/2 hours straight. M8 I can't even do 10 minutes like that on a sim. Sure, I'll be able to match his lap times, but for 1/2 hours, excess of 3G, you legs at risk... No way.
one thing that i heard about 2004 was that brigestone was pretty much focusing a lot on ferrari, which made a lot of the other teams change to michelin, and they were also making faster and softer tyres for them, so ferrari would pull strategies like these, with a lot of pit stops and still win, i think this was why FIA then banned tyre changes during the races for 2005, knowing that brigestone didnt have the same experience as michelin to create a durable tyre, so ferrari strugled a lot that season
Was always one of my favourite tracks back in the day. Always looked forward to it. Such a flow of mid to high speed corners. Didn’t always give the best races but you knew who had the best car after the French gp!
Schumacher are the first and last person in brilliant era when I love anything about Ferrari. Since then up to present I'm gonna say fuck Ferrari forever...And also fuck Mercedes as well after Hakkinen/Coulthard era...Now Redbull is the F1...King Max Verstappen...😂
Car absolutely on the rails. So little steering movements needed. Billiard clean technical track. Just the man in his office.
That sound of v10 engine is music to my ears
Driving perfection, at its best :D
Tickled me😂 best ever driving the best ever
That's what absolute dedication to testing at Fiorano gets you.
Man, machine and race strategy came together. Four stops! I remember watching this in disbelieve. Four stints at qualifying pace! WOW.
And without simulators to practice entire winter. Or DRS. Or ERS.
